Love your videos 🎣 💕, how personable yous both are when describing things while oot fishing, an sharing your experience, is great! Also love how it is filmed and edited, captures the essence! Thank you ☀️ 🏴
Excellent video again, lads. Scottish pike fishing in a nutshell. Cold weather dead baiting has to be ground oot relentlessly from the bank for any reward Roll on next year and the boat you are planning. You will be out of your comfort zone only for a short time and practice makes perfect in towing, launching, fishing and recovery.
The view is spectacular... watchin ya wade out into that cold water made me wince... I got a baitboat recently for that jobby... fill it up with chopped loose offerings and LIGHTLY hook my baits without worrying about shedding them in the cast... a 100yd drop is literally childs play ! 😂 😎👍☘️🍺
@@angling360 I'm sitting by the fire on this wet and very windy sunday modifying my running leads ... the original rubber tube , when bent, seems to increase the resistance quite a lot so I got hold of some smooth-bore hard plastic ferrules and I epoxying them on the leads after removing the rubber tube... I tried it with a lead "prototype" last week and the results were PHENOMENAL !! Slippery az an eel now !! ... I love making stuff for my fishing... another trick is to use the plastic ball from a Guinness can as a pop-up float, I even glue on "eyes" I bought in a craft shop... I also epoxy in a small picture-frame eye-screw for clipping on to.. 😉 😎👍☘️🍺 Edit... I'm watching you lads fishin while I "work" ... catch one for me !! 😂 Edit2... 6 rods EACH ! ... we're only allowed 2 each... 🤔
Another good video, guys, even though there are no real monsters. Nice fish on the first day, though, for you, Gordon, cracking looking fish. I can relate a lot to your videos, though. You have that excitement and anticipation first thing in the morning, especially at new swims, then come home time in cold and dark. You think what we are doing, lol. But you'll do it all over again 😂
@angling360 💯% im on the hunt for my first 20, and it's hard going. You have waters that you know you'll get sport and jacks, odd doubles. But the vast majority of the larger wild waters in Scotland can be a hard slog, especially in winter months, but the chance of a monster is only a cast away. I'm only year into pike fishing though so can't complain too much what Ive had.
Tough going boys, but you've got to be in it to win it he said unhelpfully 😂 Beautiful places to struggle though guys and you never know you just never know ❤
Nice one lads what a beautiful place couple of fish caught can't go wrong do you do any prebaiting yr spots I do it a lot and get great results 🎣👊💯 to you both carry on the good work
😂i can understand ya boys but im a geordie so have same probs 😂😂😂 lovely place to spend day fishing its a hobby of luck like hunting if had great day everytime get boring and youd be onto summit more challenging fresh air countryside in any form is natures tonic
Very enjoyable to watch, love your photography, great methods, and plenty of pike!
Thanks mate. 🤝🏻
Hope you keep on with the deadbaiting videos guys they're a good watch & the big one will show up 👍👍
I like that you don't mess around when it comes to striking, better a lost fish than a deep hooked one. My philosophy also.
Thanks for sharing advice aimed towards newer anglers. Great too see more support.
Keep it up. Your leviathan will come. 🐊🏴
Cheers mate
