- It's a Fire Emblem Randomizer, but it's also an ironman, and Sophia is the lowest runt on the food chain.
Might be a little gap in between this and the next highlight video, since I'm messing around with some ideas for non-stream stuff and also I still haven't finished Sacae. WHOOPS.

Fun fact, there's a glitch where if you recruit Hugh for his lowest amount, 5K gold, and then immediately suspend and resume the game he will have capped magic and skill (although this also changes when he's randomized) immediately taking him from below average mage to player phase delete button
The "In the Name of Bern" theme was apparently plagiarized. It's just a midi version of the song Lunar Sea, by a band named Camel (released in 1973)
If you don't believe me, a RUclipsr by the name of "Code: Marbles" made a video on this, named "That one time Fire Emblem Plagiarized it's music". It's a very entertaining watch and I recommend anyone watch it
I second this recommendation and also recommend listening to the original lunar sea, it's pretty great

The desert map and fog of war theme go oddly well together. Tbh sometimes FE6 hits this unique but undescribable vibe or aesthetic that just draws me to it again, it's really bizarre
In the Name of Bern is indeed not plagiarized from Ridley's theme- it's instead plagiarized from a section (at 5:54-ish) of Lunar Sea, by Camel. There's a video by Code: Marbles that compares the two side by side (and then overlays them), and it's pretty damning.
EDIT: zerima apparently posted almost the same comment as mine 5 hours ago, lmao. I swear I didn't plagiarize mine from theirs!

About Gaiden chapters, I like the idea of having chapters that are hidden behind requirements, I just believe they shouldn't be complicated. FE6 has both the best and worst requirements, an example is keeping Lilina alive on the map she joins. That is perfect for a Gaiden. Hell, I'd argue Douglas is perfect as well for a more difficult one as long as the story has a easy hint to understand it. The worst are keeping Units alive for the entire campaign (Melady and Zeiss), or 14X. Paralouges are cool, but Gaidens feel more special.

Am I hallucinating or did you not have an unlock staff for the chests?
The Unlock Staff only works on Doors in FE6, so those chests were gone no matter what. I did absolutely go the long way around for no reason other than I just forgot I had the Unlock Staff in the first place.
