The roads are killing my car!

In this, my second, video of me ranting about things that piss me off driving here in the UK, I am looking at the absolutely disgraceful roads that are in my local area. Why? Well, basically, it’s getting beyond a joke. I’ve just had to have one of my front coil springs replaced because it was fractured. This was an eibach spring too. What’s worse is the fact that just over a year ago, I had a similar issue with the other one. Two springs in less than two years? What’s causing this? It could be poor quality parts, but I’d say it is the disgusting state of our roads. I’m not just picking on my local ones either. I drive up and down the M3, M25, A303, and while they’re a LOT better, they’re far from perfect, and this is despite lane after lane being closed on a regular basis for roadworks.
The motorists in this country are just being screwed. It is bad enough paying road tax that isn’t used for the roads. Now you have to factor in repairs for the damage the roads are doing to our rides as well.
I have written to my MP, but as I am writing this, I’ve not had a response.
I guess I won’t hold my breath!.
What’s the roads like where you live?
If we all bombard our MP’s, then just maybe something will get done.
