  • I’ve just bought a 1992 Chevrolet Caprice Classic, from a Facebook marketplace advert.
It’s in Clacton on Sea, which is 170 miles away from my house.
It’s only got about two weeks mot on it and has a few issues that the seller told me about. I hope there aren’t any others!
I’ve only seen it briefly a week ago. The seller hasn’t used it much, so I’ve no idea how this is going to work out!
    Wish me luck 😀.

I’m going to start a new channel soon, to put my non motoring videos on as I think that’s the right thing to do.
I’ll let you know when it’s up and running.
Thanks for watching and supporting the channel.
    See you soon.

We called the police car variant Shamu. Its not ideal for policework but in my op one of the best riding cars America ever built.

Love that name and I can certainly appreciate why. I’m generally a Ford guy but this car came up at a very tempting price. I would agree with you about the ride quality. I was surprised how modern it felt despite how old it is, especially regarding the steering. I’ve driven plenty of older American cars and many had vague steering to say the least. I’ll be doing more stuff on my Shamu soon as I have to get it through our inspection which means sorting the wipers and fitting a rear fog light.
