Have been riding my 2019 SLR 7 for 20,000kms now and absolutely love it. I’ll take the 1kg of extra weight over other bikes just so I can ride it. Weight isn’t everything. Aero isn’t everything. But a bike you want to ride is everything.
This bike is truly a thing of beauty. This is what ot must be like for all those people I see staring at paintings, cause I can't stop looking at this masterpiece 😍
@@dusanjovic7268 because I don’t like the paint job? Looking at my local bike shop, the slr is either $9,000 or $13,000. Not sure about can’t but certainly won’t be spending that much. I’ll stick with my 2013 madone with plenty of life left and I’m not sure the changes would make all that much difference for me. But maybe I’ll splatter some paint on it to make it look more modern.

I was at a bike shop to test ride the Madone SLR. This damn bike is heavy!!!! I have 2 aero bikes, but was thinking of buying a Madone SLR. I'll stick with my Cannondale System Six Hi-Modular at 7.5 kg.
@@Timtimzi 1kg more or less make much smaller of a difference than most people think. It’s faster on anything but the steepest and biggest of climbing days.
I have the 2019 model SLR and I can tell you even with the slight extra weight this bike overall is faster than even the Emonda SLR. Only place where it might have problem is on really long and steep climbs like in the Alps etc, but how often do you ride those climbs? For normal racing with climbs and rolling terrain its an absolute beast. Check the course on which Mads Pederson won world championship was far from flat for us normal riders
@@LarsRR you dont use the madone for uphill climb, its an aero bike its suppose to be in flats, thats why they have the Emonda's and Domane for those type of terrain
@@raptor7669 new Domane isn’t even much lighter. An aero bike works very well on climbs. Again, it is one KG heavier than the Emonda, and if you use climbing wheels, that is 0.5kg. 500g difference is probably hard to recognize if your honest.
It’s funny that most of y’all said that this is expensive. Try and survey the price in Asia. I can only afford Giant and some of the unknown brands. At least, not known in the Pro Peloton.
my 2011 58cm madone ssl may only bee 700 series and not "aero" but it weights 13.5 pounds with alloy wheels. and its 10 years old.... shifts and brakes perfect and requires only basic tools and minimal time to service any part of the bike.... look have far weve come!
@@rickdoehler502 Yes, the Madone (version 5) with the flaps that covered the front brakes...... a terrrrible idea. And yet, the Iso Speed seat on my 2019 SLR9.... a novel, clever idea that seems to work pretty well.
Work in a trek shop and most people do use duotrap if they run a computer and don't have a power meter. It's a pretty neat compact system that keeps the sensors protected.

They should make a video about the procaliber series. I bought one two months ago and I love it like a girlfiend
Because I don't have one
💰💰💰💰
It should be expensive, but, it is cheap now, it is worth more.
Thanks for TREK.

With madone , i can save a lot.
Almost 8kg for their top of the range models that costs $12,500 😂
heavy af. so a flat course road bike ?

I wish TREK BICYCLE can give me their old model bike.😊
I want this bike
Is there a video on how to pack this bike in a suitcase? especially for the all integrated handlebar
Love my 2021 Madone SLR 7. Sadly, I was told the RSL 37 wheels will not be available until March 2021.
Don't the aoelus 37 come on it anyways? I upgraded to those instead of the RSL because more worth the money
@@PDS_37 It comes with Aeolus Pro 5 wheels. They are good wheels and I would have been just fine staying with them.
But, RSL 37's called to me.
Will you put the RSL 37 on Madone?

I'm more than sure it's a very nice bike. I have though bought some cars that cost less though. The Trek I have is more than nice enough for me.
I am 6”1. What size should I get?
One day....
No disc please
Right, what's the deal. @ that price you can"t even choice. And, although I ride a Emonda, a much cheaper version, the seat mast is off putting.
thats great but why does the Marlin series still have a non tapered steerer tube :(
If only I could afford it
So the Madone Madsterpiece SLR is going on sale for $14,000 frame only?
we know madone slr, but our bank account only know other road bike.
What is the price in dolars?
Yall should stop advertising the “fastest bike” while the UCI rule is still existing

Please give me trek Single speed bicycle details?
I want trek single speed bike?
As advanced as these bikes seem technology exists where they could weigh 1/4 and be stronger. The cost would be astronomical though
