I've had my Madone 3.1 since 2013. Easily over 10k miles on it and still runs great. I'm saving up for the Emonda and hope to get one next year. Trek bikes are AMAZING!
I have a 2020 Emonda SLR6 and love it! It does not have electronic shifting. I heard good and bad about the electronic shifting. Do some research before buying. I made minor changes to my bike from day one. I did not like the saddle, the handlebar tape, the tires it came with. Expect to make some minor tweak changes even on a brand new bike to suit your tastes. I run 700x28 tires and that is the max size my bike can take. Next new bike I get will have to be able to accomodate 700x32 tires.
They were like “idk what the engineers are doing” “Dont worry robbie, just say AI and Machine Learning” “Idk what that means” “Robby, robby, its about the buzz words, not what they mean”
This is so true. The Emonda and Domane are my go to rides. I own the Domane SLR7 and the Emonda SLR5. Both bikes are insanely fast. If I want to go fast you can on both these bikes. It's amazing.
@@johnrennicks7747 I'll take the SLR 6. That's where I'm at right now. All that extra money for Di2? That's like eTap? If you forget to charge your battery your ride is screwed! I'm my own mechanic. I also love the Emonda SLR 6!
Great bike if you’re a pure racer, but I still think a high-spec Domane provides more options - especially for a bigger rider like me. I use my Domane for endurance and general training and can then set it up to race for events to a close enough equivalent to the Emonda.
When are you going to bring back 64cm's? You guys were the ONLY ones in the community offering bikes for taller people. Its devastating that you've stopped. You know you've sold out of them every single time, so why stop????
What I do not get is, why are so many bikes now disc-brakes only. Rim brakes are both lighter and more aerodynamic and as far as I can tell, this is probably a bigger difference than anything they improved with their fancy machine-learning models. I totally get, why people want disc brake bikes, but if you buy a bike at this price-point and you are very passionate about cycling the chances are high that you have more then one bike. So if you have a gravel bike and an endurance training bike with disc brakes you do not want disc brakes on your performance oriented race bike. For that amount of money, I would at least expect to have the choice....
I think it's because of the deep profile of the carbon wheels. The rim break would not have what to grip on since it would touch carbon which has very little friction and would shatter.
@@Kromer0 No, I don't think so. I do have carbon wheels on my rim brake bike - you brake directly on the carbon surface. The only real issue is, that your wheels are wearing down. In the long run this might make rim brakes with carbon wheels more expensive. In the wet the performance is significantly worse then it would be with disc brakes, because water on the carbon rim makes it somewhat more "slippery". But as I said, not everyone needs to ride their race bikes in the wet.
maybe all your ROCKET SCIENTIST can figure out how to secure cables in a Domane so they don't rattle in the down tube. It sounds like the front is about to fall off. I'll stayed tune for an answer.
10k LOL... Buy a top of the line MTB for less than half that and a more than capable motorcycle for the streets. You'll be safe and have cash left over for gear.

You forgot rocket science.
True, came across as BS
Love Trek! I just bought a 2020 Domane, my first road bike
Enjoy! The Domane is a great bike!
@@trekbikes I’ve just bought a Marlin 7
How is it?
I bought for 3 weeks a new Fuel Ex - First Trek bike and I love it :)
all treks need to have stock option of viper red w white accents.. now you need to go P1 and an extra $3000
あまりのカッコ良さに、先日、ついにSLRを発注してしまいました。
Too cool!
I ordered the "EMONDA SLR "the other day.
Crazy light and crazy waiting time!!!!!!

Original emondas all ready so good. Disc brakes are good for noobs but overkill for experienced road riders.
Why is disc for noobs?
You finally gave me a reason for changing my amazing Madone 7S 😂👌
Add it to the family!
I have the SL 6. I want this!
Trek please do a video on your etap bikes!
Why are rocket scientists designing bikes? 1:13 is a beautiful shot, wonder where that's at
Lots more bikes than rockets 🤷
I just crashed my 2020 Émonda. Just in time to buy the 2021 Émonda.
Oh yeah!!! Epic bike, Just loving it...
Nice bike
in the next month I go to my first émonda, the SL 5. I'm so excited.
Deadly did u get it??i gif my nee emonda sl6 e tap last week what a bike 🚴
I'm stuck between the Madone SLR6 or Emonda SLR 6?!
What do you think about the Madone SLR 6 and Madone SLR 7 if you had the choice?

Nice lets hope it lives up to what they say, aero & light like the new Cannondale supersix evo 😁
I would like to know if any stage of manufacturing or assembly of any Trek bikes are currently done in the USA???
Currently, we complete and assemble Project One and some wheels in Waterloo, Wisconsin.
@@trekbikes Thanks
Bellísima! Lastima no tienen la opción sin discos, me quedo con mi vieja Emonda sin discos
지금 마돈 타고 있는데 이번 에몬다 보니까 에몬다로 갈아타고 싶어지네
I’m a mountain biker. I don’t even know why I’m here
Lol sane
I don’t even like trek. I don’t know why I’m here
Why don’t you like trek? I’m a mountain biker but I still use trek mountain bikes
😂😂😂😂
At least you've identified the problem... that's the first step. We'll accept you anyway.
Does it stop my legs from hurting when I try to ride fast ?
crazy light, crazy fast, crazy expensive.
take my money
More than 3 years later this design is difficult to improve.
GOOD
Man I wish sponsored by trek but im not good enough lol.
Neither am I lol!

Price: £11,000 and a FREE puncture repair kit. 🇬🇧
700 grams is crazy light for a frame
Is there any valid reason why did rear stays cable routing is different in SL and SLR ⁉️NOT A FAN OF SL REAR CABLE ROUTING
What’s different about it? Haven’t seen the slr routing myself
Necesitamos de tu apoyo para nuestros programas de desarrollo 🙏🏻
Buy the Giant tcr. Emonda is too expensive and heavy. I don't know why it's so expensive. Or wait for s-works tarmac sl7.
Tcr은 아직도 인터널 케이블 프레임이 아니다
Just bought a sl7 etap. Cant wait to put serious miles on it.
Enjoy your new road machine!
Weighs more than an alloy trek from 2011. Fact. Also terrible qc.
Przepiękny!!! Brawo TREK👍 mogę tylko pomarzyć, dla mnie finansowo niedostępny😩🙁
I have no money to buy trek Émonda. But if only
9kg for a 56cm with Shimano 105? It doesn’t sound lighter or a climbing bike. But congrats on changing the bottom bracket!
Just don’t fall or it will snap then you are assed out
The new gen 8 madone sucks came back to see this as a superior bike
Never be as fast as Lance, man was a machine
My dream bike. I wish I could have a bike like this But it is very very very very expensive for me

What down to a Pro Bike Shop test Road One made my Diamondback mountain bike feel like a piece of s***
マドンは軽くなってエモンダは空力性能が良くなっていって最終的にはどうなるんだ~笑
possible que vous m'offrez un vtt tout suspendu ca serait bien haha
Who needs 52/36 on a climbing bike, that’s sprinter gearing. Put some climbing gears on there🤦🏼♂️
OCLV 800, that’s music to my ears

Cables?? What are you poor? You should only have 1 rearward internal cable.
Are you using friction shifters too mate?? 😂
Imagine road biking instead of mountain biking.
Why is there no Campagnolo option? Won't use Shimano or Sram
You can always add Campy - but we have not offered it with our road models.
Ultralekki rower 8.5kg 💀
Not lightweight anymore.
