The depression season begins. About the Calus animatronic. Calus was a boss fight in the Leviathan raid, but at the end we discovered that it was a robot, and in the loot room we see hundreds of robots hanging around. We don't see Calus himself until Lightfall.
I still remember struggling through the raid and feeling so proud that my friends and I defeated him only to find out that not only was it not really him but the boss we struggled so hard to kill was only one of hundreds.😂
@@Hedron1027 oh yes, it's very smart but dang did that sense of achievement die when I saw he had spares in the closet? It's like when SpongeBob smashed Squidward’s clock only for him to open his closet and show he had hundreds more. But I'm not mad about I actually found it hilarious.
Fun fact: In the background Ikora Ray was haunted by the Nightmare of Cayde-6. The Phantasm was basically criticized her desicsion to accept "Uldren Sow" into the Last City and said other mentally dubious personnel facts.
To answer your question about why the player didn't offer anything as far as I know is that we already went past through our nightmares through the Shadow keep campaign. We fought various night mares, (IE Crota, the fanatic, ghaul, and a few others) so we are technically cleansed to move about both the lunar pyramid and the Leviathan (Calus's ship) Also the whole point of that ritual is to sever calus's hold on the lunar pyramid.
it's also not known what our/"the guardian's" nightmare is, if we even have one, as the framing of the ones in shadowkeep were more "humanities nightmares" than ours specifically
FoR tHe AlGoRiThM. Also, I know the principal narrative contributor to this season, as in they wrote all the dialog during the missions as well as a good amount elsewhere. I don't know much about the rabbit hole that is destiny lore since I mostly play to follow their work. This season really blew me away, very happy you guys got an opportunity to see it.
The fact that Caiatl is haunting Calus means he is really afraid of her and that her betrayal really hurt. However Caiatl has Ghaul as Nightmare means that she isn‘t afraid of her father but just really furious due to his past actions
Great season, many feels. Zavala's backstory really let's us feel more connected to him. Enjoy! Side Note: If you're interested, I have a custom playlist of all "Major" Destiny 2 trailers on my channel. Please feel free to use that if ever needed! I keep it updated every time a new expansion or season trailer gets released. Keep up the great content guys!
If you’re wondering who the Lunar Pyramid belongs to…oh boy, just wait till Lightfall. It’s gonna be a doozy. But the man who owns that Pyramid is basically the reason why the Nightmares exist in the first place.
I agree with you on how Amanda responded to Crow; it really wasn't fair to Crow. But I can understand her anger. She has known Cayde since she was a kid, and it was him that made her who she is. So losing someone like that and then finding out the body of the killer in the same tower as you are a lot to handle. But at the same time, she has to understand that Uldren is gone, and the man she's talking to isn't Uldren, it's Crow. She's directing her anger at someone that no longer exists.
Season of the Haunted was actually pretty decent- I love Nightmare shit and Eris so this was a sucker for me. Also with Crow having an existential crisis with his nightmare was hilarious-
You guys really had me pondering my entire existence as a human at the end discussion of a Destiny 2 reaction lol P.S. Event Horizon is such a great movie!
Once you watch The Lightfall cinematics, i heavily recomend taking a peek at byf's video on the character "Nezarec". You will hear more from him in lightfall.
Oh I guess this is a member video made public after 3 weeks, aside from that love this season. Gave us solar 3.0 aka everyone heals and everything goes BOOM
Right off the bat, first try. 20:35 Take note that this is just a phantasm. The real Fanatic was deriven out of the Sol System. Also, He's the only Scorn master necromancer that cannot stay dead.
Here's an interesting question, if you were near the Lunar Pyramid what kind of Nightmare/person of the past involved with a certain personal trauma would it manifest? If it's too much to share then you don't have to comment.
Imo this season was pretty boring compared to Season of The Risen but the weapons that you can get chefs kiss, Love my Calus Mini tool Edit: Duality dungeon is also cool
5:17 Safiyah is Zavala’s wife she died in his arms so it’s natural that Zavala would trust her wholeheartedly wouldn’t you ken? FYI that doesn’t spoil anything you only find that out in the games lore so only by playing would you know who she is before this
This season has been affectionately called by the community the "season of the emotional damage" 😂😂😂
Seems accurate 😝
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGamesI won’t spoil it but get some tissues ready in case of crying 😢😁

@@ToxicVex267It’s actually a pretty clever way to explain why you can do the Raid over and over again.

@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames thats why Eris doesnt have nightmare too. We got rid of her nightmares (her dead fireteam) back in shadowkeep.

A few seconds into the video and I'm already remembering the emotional damage. Curious to see how you guys react to this particular season

@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames you're very welcome!
Quite possibly the greatest season is here! I adore Haunted's cutscenes for the severe trauma they inflict on these poor people
It is cool diving into backstories and psychology of these characters 😀

Just released our reaction today 😅
ah yes Paranormal Activity meets Five Nights at Freddy's starring Eris Morn as our Therapist/Ghost Hunter
Season of the Haunted was actually pretty decent-
I love Nightmare shit and Eris so this was a sucker for me.

Yeah if you like nightmares and Eris then this has to be a great season for ya 😁
The reason why our character didn’t offer anything or have any nightmares is because we dealt with our nightmares during the shadowkeep dlc.
😎👍🙂
Love your destiny reactions the most

They need to see Hunter the Parenting soon, especially since a new audiolog (pretty much) just came out!
You should check out the new trailer and weapon videos for monster hunter wilds.
The new WoW expansion is out and there are a lot of good cutscenes. Check Athelarius's videos from the last 3 weeks.
