The main reason is, the younger guy would not be able to control his own finances. He would have to ask his dad even when he is 30 or 40.

Same happened with my father he is in family business which was started by my great grand father now he is 43 and he had to depend financially till he was 41 then also he has to build his financial part from start

I am a Software Engineer on my Father's Enterprise. We have our differences in some aspects but we don't project that in front of our team. I admire my father's experience and my father admires my qualifications and achievements. I agree with him 💯.

This is so true. Another factor is god complex. Many uncles have that. They came from families where they had their way, mom pampered them with treats and constant attention, wife was made to serve him and his whole family, and after a particular age the younger generation is made to literally touch his feet like he's a god. A lot of such people begin to like the sound of their own voice think that they're the centre of the world. I never had tht experience with my dad or some other people, but many uncles and my grand father tended to have this complex.
