I've been sitting here trying to figure this out for the last hour and I got it done in less than 2 minutes watching you lol. I'm brand new to seeing so thank you so much for your video. You saved me.
Thank you so very much Chris!!! I was a wild child during my home-ec days in school. Now I am 48 years old and I finally learned how to thread a sewing machine after watching your video! I had to push my back button a hundred times to get it, but I finally did it! You're the best!
I have had my sewing machine for a year now and am just now getting the time to learn how to use it. I remember some details from my mom's machine. But there are some differences between her machine and this brother. Thank you so much for this video!
OMG YOU'RE THE BEST!!! I have watched so many videos already on how to fix this thing for my sister and your video gives the best details on how to do it. Thank you so much for the help!!
Thank you I am beginner & my mother in law gave her brand new one. This I gonna help me so much thank you for making this video & taking your time thru it..😁
Oh you are a life saver! I have been trying to solve this problem for a while now. Can you please help me figure out why the thread gets bunched up into a ball while test sewing a couple of scrap fabric pieces? Thank you!
This video was helpful to me when I was setting up the bobbin on my partner's Brother XL-4040. On her machine we found that you have to turn the knob all the way round so that the thread from the bobbin is pulled up.
Thank you so much for this video I bought this same sewing machine like 2 yrs ago bc I was going to "learn" how to sew but it never happened bc I didn't even know how to put the thread on lol.. But this video helped tremendously :)
once you pull the thread from the bottom . Do you need to make a knot of both threads together? You say we are ready to sew. But when i start sewing no thread is on the garment.
I am new to sewing machines, haven't touched one since I was in middle school. I have a brother VX780 that was handed down to me from my mother. I have always done hand sewing and now I'm back to new territory. Love this video, but for some reason my top thread is getting chopped below and other times its just knotting up. What am I doing wrong? (If you know lol)
i'm new to sewing with a brother, and i followed along with you to make sure i was doing it right, but for some reason when i bring the needle down and back up the thread won't catch? i don't know what i'm doing wrong. :/
Thank you so so much! You explained it so easily! I'm only 13 but I have a hobby of sewing little cosplay items to sell. Buuut I always get stuck on threading the bobbin!

do you need a bobbin case or just the bobbin will do?
Pearl Fernandes hi! depends on the machine... this machine requires the bobbin case.
I did exactly what you did in the video, but my sewing machine still is not working, do you think you have any tips or pointers?
