I'm 49, so grew up with these bikes when they were new, & still ride a few days a week, but haven't owned anything older than 4 years old, so got really used to new bmx geometry & tech, but once prices level out i want to build a '87 Team Model.
I have a 9yo son, & it's really awesome to share a hobby with him, i go on group rides with him, we go ride street & park, & also ride ebikes.
Kids are lucky now, our parents would've never done The stuff we do with our kids now, sure wish my Dad would've shredded at parks with me, & brought me on huge group rides. 😆
I got him a 2012 GT Performer, 2020 GT Performer Box Palm, & i got a 2020 custom Sunday EX, 2023 Sunday Darkwave, & a 2022 Kink Whip XL.
