For example: Hitler, Mussolini, Gandhi, Joseph Stalin, MLK, MX. Donald Trump still has a "CULT" following. Leaders have INFLUENCE. This song is still relevant till this day.
The group itself does not get the recognition they deserve! They need to be inducted into the ROCK & ROLL HALL OF FAME!✊🏿✊🏿

You don't want to become a leader who speaks the truth. Who goes against the powers that be.
Masses follow cult of personalities real leaders get kept down often thru fear or death.
OF COURSE Living Colour is 1000% legit. They wouldn't still be there if they were fake, and they certainly would never write a song like this one or "Ausländer" (about the immigrants situation), or "Flying" (about 9/11), or "Under the sun" (about hurricane Katrina and how disastrous was the victims treatment). These guys are the real deal. They also cleverly inserted in this video some footage from a less harmful cult of personality : US crowd reaction from when The Beatles landed for the first time in the US when the beatlesmania was in full force.
There are people from India who reacted to this song, they were so butthurt and vocal about Gandhi being mentionned on the lyrics it really proved LC's point, when the comment section showed them how wrong they were for taking it in the worst way they put down their video... their channel name rhymes with enema, can't invent it.
