@@Flisix if you have a honda , on the carburetor there should be a little black nob you can turn the idle up and down , if not a honda look up where you’re idle screw is on your fourwheeler and that should work

To answer your question yes. And the frame is completely sealed no fittings at all on the Brute Force as long as the snorkels are properly connected. You won't have any problems submerging that bike completely Under even if you put in the water in the snorkel shutdown don't you think a 2018 has resolved all those issues you're having with that little toy you have. Have a little common sense you're talking about 2018. I had a Honda Foreman. I hate it the lack of power when the tires are in the mud and your revving the crap out of the engine doesn't have the power to turn the tires.what a joke. Best ATV built by far. The new 2018 Brute Force 750. Faster than the 1000 Can-Am.it will go through mud, and you could take that thing underwater deeper than any bike out there. Google it check ratings. Do your research. You wouldn't know till you're able to afford to buy the new Brew 2018 or 19. Once you get on that thing. You wouldn't want to ride anything else

Technology has gotten way better and has a lot more things going and safety of saving the engine. Once you clear whatever little bit of water that hit the sensors all you have to do is plug in the reset sensor and it starts right up. All I can say is never had that issue to have to reset it's. Or have I ever had an issue with it flipping upside down. the engineering that went on Brute Force 750 2018 is very impressive

True because I saw a old 88 Honda 200 sx and it would not die, it has been flipped, sunk without a snorkel, and has been abused. It also is chain drive (2 wd).

if you are a hunter or a farmer, you need a "quad" that can handle being wet most of the day and dunked on occasion. that is why honda is so prevalent in my area.
They really are such great machines. That release and the ability to just pump out the cylinder/cylinders is still apparently ahead of its time… I love my big outty but yes nothing beats a Honda in real time.

I put a homemade snorkel on a clone Honda 80cc and went fording. Bike was completely submerged and only my head was showing. Stalled it and it filled with water. I walked it out, stood it up so it would drain and started kickin it as soon as it had enough water out and it fired right up. Key to starting after a flood is onow what to do. Honda or not. Neat video though!
Many years ago I had a 93' 300 four trax, got a new sportsman 570 now and I'll admit the fuel injection come winter is great but that beat ass Honda of mine was my fav to date even being full time 4wd... totally stock, I had plans for the warn disconnect but never got to it. Honestly the newer vehicles are nice being turn key, auto blah blah blah but I liked my slow fourtrax. When you went threw mud or water it made you feel like a bad ass. I do the same obstacles now and it's not as fun. I'll take a small engine any day, the challenge is the best part

The overflow pipe on the bowl of carburettor, with the vacuum in the carb it will suck water back in, even if the bottom screw in the carb bowl, is tight . I just floated her out, let the water out of the pipe and after a few grinds away she went and when I opened the airbox later there was about 1/4” of water in the bottom, dried it out and have been driving it since, that was 2 months ago 👍
So your bike while obviously wasn't hydrolocked. That's the point of this video... on a Honda 300 you can use the compression release to unhydrolock your lock a motor

Fuck yeah dude. Also these things are bullet proof, they will run on almost anything it's unbelievable.
I at least pull the spark plug and turn the engine over to expell the water. At least that's what I've done the 8 or so times I completely submerged my 4trax 300.
Dose it help to have a exhaust snorkel?? I recently tried mine and at idle it shut off and sucked water in from the exhaust my idle was very very low though would you recommend extending the exhaust?
Did this with a 98 Yamaha Wolverine 350 YFM and like you I just let the water out of the overflow and away it went out of 4ft of water which it was actually floating in due to the large tyres, so it ain’t just Honda that can cope 👍
My Honda TRX 450 S pumps away and wants to start it spits a little bit every once in a while I backfire I was taking the inspection cover off to see if the T Mark is lined up with top dead center and it is there is no noise or jamming up like a time in chain or a gear or somethings stuck in there have none of that could it be that the cut the carburetor has been pluggedAll I did was drain the tank actually suck out all the bad gasoline and replaced it with a good clean gasoline what else might have a high or something gone wrong really want to use my four wheeler please help
What do y’all do for the drain line on carb? My drain line has one way check valve but continues to suck water in. I’ve tried plugging it but it will not run right like this. Just need some help

I'm sue it needed a few oil flushes! I just did this with my 300 but it broke through the ice so it was just a tad cooler on the nads.
You should put a cut off valve on your snorkel pipe so when it’s about to turn over you can shut it off and have no water get in engine
+Johnw Hunt they get sand in them and stick great way to rip off the snorkel. Plus I never have time reach for it always leaning the opposite way lol
