kayhan kalhor is one of the gratest artists in the world that is alive yet . trust me he is in the last level of his art every artist in world should to know him he always play with close eyes and with his soul you can hear his soul in this video.you are so lucky becuse now you know him and his art.i think he cant be better.

Just heard The Opening, Offering and Chaharpareh one after another. Enchanting! Saw Kayan at close quarters in the production of Peter Brook's Mahabharata in the 1980s. Such an amazing musician, and what discreet and fine accompaniment by the Rembrandt Trio! Bravo! Looking forward to hearing Hossein Alizadeh with the Trio plus Cello Octet after this.
The best jazz ever imagined... Perfect, harmonious combination... I hear true ancient Iran, so inspiring... :)

He is a kurd in the greater Iran Tamaz. You have problem with that? He is also from western Asia and from plane earth. Looking other way, he comes from a town and a street and from a pair of people we call parents. Now, why do you insist on his Kurdish blood, if there is such thing? Because you think tribal and local. Iran is a mix of many ethnicities. p[perhaps you have political problem with Iran, which I guess you mean Persian speaking people. But Pesrian language is the national language of that big land we call Iran with all its diversity. Got it?
