The song describes a woman who just received the worse news that her loved one has terminal cancer. Thus the lyrics of the song is so moving, because she's basically dying emotionally inside but nonetheless is fighting together, encouraging her loved one not to give up and holding on to a miracle. Not only can this songbird truly sing, Mori delivers this powerful song with so much emotions in her voice and thus taking this song to a whole new level.

Morrissette is the best on the planet!
They add in the Wish ad so that people can't infringe on the copyright. They add it after the song starts and just before it ends so that it can't be cut out without messing up the song. Those of us who grew up with only the radio to listen to, unless you wanted to buy a record or cassette, you'd hear that kind of thing on almost every song that played. It prevented people from recording a song from the radio onto a cassette and selling it. Ah, the good-ol-days of music. Yes, I know it dates me. lol

I don't want to be mean and bias in this statement .But even you are not a good vocal coach or singer you can't the feel passion and emotion that morissette put in this song , I think the audio or video that they got is broken or there ears are broken ,And the thing that the song is really hard to sing by sitting there and sing by your heart and put a lot of technique in the voice, And I think there reaction is the reaction of someone did not understand music PERIOD!!!

Hope you get to check out her EP that came out last year called Signature. All five songs are amazing but Mirror is my favorite and the actual music video for Phoenix hits the feels with some clips from her journey and the Philippines. Her live performances are great of course, but the RX93.1 Monster Anniversary is my favorite set.

How about the fact that she's under the weather when she did this: shortness of breath, a little clogged nose but she still sang this live sitting down and with actual people watching and applauding outside the bus?!!

Technically speaking, the performance you've just reacted to was much more challenging, demanding and trying even for the most seasoned and branded singers. First off, it was live. She only had one chance at the song in which all imperfections and mistakes would have been obvious and devastating.
I dare anyone to close their eyes and listen to the video without watching and tell me that it did not sound like a perfectly studio-recorded number where it takes several recordings, patched together, to come up with something even akin to how she sounded. Something even famous singers would dread and never dream of attempting.
Secondly, she belted a complicated power-demanding piece while sitting down - the whole time! A feat not everyone among great artists can do given the physiological and technical challenges it presents. Lastly, she performed in an empty bus, a rolling radio station in the absence of an audience. Something that artists would rather prefer as they feed off the energy of a responsive crowd in order to muster not only the motivation, but as well as the inspiration to sing in soulful, heartfelt level. All these make Morissette Amon not only a singer, but a true artist. An artist's artist.

You picked the wrong video to start with. She was under the weather when this was recorded. Do the other two songs of the „big three“, which are „Never enough“ and „Akin ka na lang“ (with subtitles). Morissette is probably the best female singer alive. She is Mariah, Whitney and Ariana and Celine all in one small Philippino powerhouse!

Stop this. I am also a Filipina Mori fan. She was not being disrespectful. She was just honest with her own opinions and everyone is entitled to voice and have differing opinions. Depending on the time of day, sometimes there are a number of people outside who can listen , but early evenings or late nights and depending on the location, there are no audience at all. And by the way, you're supposed to appreciate and react to the deliverance of the singer, not the audience reaction. I suppose you don't understand the purpose of reaction videos.

Yes yes I can't say anything bad about Andre, because, of course, he is just too handsome, and he has a magic chair button. Yes its true. Thanks for your review. I have mixed feelings about her song. Her voice is quite good, great range and power. But, perhaps similar to Dominiqa, I had reservations at first. I felt her performance started too mechanical with little emotion to it. And, this is a bad song to do sitting in a chair in a radio studio where she is so physically restrained. But, she built up gradually with more engagement and emotion. Somebody needs to smack Mr. WISH 107.5 in his nose. So, despite Mr 107, I liked her performance.
