I like the walk through of all this, not that I understand all of it lol, but it's cool to learn about it. I don't I'll ever have the funds or time to do a SAS on my Canyon but I really just enjoy seeing the process of what it takes to get there. I thought it would be a little easier, just copy the suspension of a Wrangler, Gladiator or something like that. I can't wait to see this one done though!
Thanks for your discussion! It seems like you’re positive vs negative caster is reversed though. Modern vehicles with power steering need positive caster. My FJ80 axle had a negative caster after a lift and was corrected by new radius arms. OEM specs were +2 to +4 degrees.
What about hitting a bump and unloading the suspension at speed. Then it's an issue. This truck will be driven to most trails so I cannot only consider on trail function.
That is some technical stuff man glad to have you in the first gen world.

Good job. Like to see more fab walk around buddy. Thanks for the video. Maybe one day I'll see you out there rolling around.
Just came across your video. Very informative. Thank you.
Glad you enjoyed

I did not know that.
Caster will only go posative at droop...IOW crawl. Is caster even feelable at a crawl?

More y link vs 4 vs 3
Which one do you favor for front axle?
