  • This is my review of the ReyLight Pineapple Mini Titanium. It's the smallest EDC light that I have... and these days turns out to be my most used one too!
Get the ReyLight Pineapple Mini here: www.reylight.net/product/pine...
More colour measurements, CRI, Duv on my website here: darrenyeo.com/reylight-pineap...
    Observations:
    • I've had this light for over a week now and find I constantly reach for it around the house, and clip it in my shirt pocket. I've also unintentionally found it's become a fidget toy!
    • This is the smallest flashlight that I own. The only light that comes close to it would be my Speras M4 or Xtar WK21 but both are significantly wider in diameter. It's also the first titanium flashlight I've owned. Titanium is 2/3s heavier than aluminium and more expensive to process. I like having some extra weight on smaller torches.
    • I took apart this flashlight completely and am impressed at how well constructed the light is from the body, finish and threads, to the internal components, tail spring. Mine came in stonewash titanium, which
    What I liked:
    • Attention to detail with premium construction - I appreciate well-thought-out and designed products. It's apparent a lot of care has gone into making this light. It's things like the glowing o-ring on the bezel, the perfectly centred LED, and even the clip is thicker and made of high tensile steel. The switch has a tritium slot for a 1.5*6mm vial. The machining is flawless and extra effort has gone into creating the stonewash/weathered look of the light. It's a pleasure to hold and use.
    • Lifetime warranty
    ○ No one likes a long-winded warranty policy, so let me make it simple. ReyLight flashlights come with a lifetime warranty, if there is any defect in material or workmanship problem, I will repair or replace it free for life. If it’s abuse, misuse, or mod fail, I will repair it at a reasonable rate. No need to baby your ReyLight, just don’t use it as a punching bag. Love it & Use it.
    • Grippy with useful knurling.
    • Customizable UI - half click button 8 times to access. 5 different mode group selection. I have mine on (ML)-2%-20%-100%. But you can change it to:
    ii. 2nd blink: (ML)-10%-40%-100%
    iii. 3rd blink: (ML)-2%-10%-50%
    iv. 4th blink: (ML)-50%-100%-strobe-SOS
Mode memory and moonlight mode can be turned on and off, and you can also factory reset it. Double tap for turbo.
    • Value - starts at $41 for a brass model up to $52 for the titanium model
    • High CRI (95+) with warm colour temperature. Great especially if you need this as a small work light that doesn't mess with your colour vision. This light has a beautiful warm tint that produces a smooth, natural beam.
    • Bright for the size - 240 lumens - may not sound like much, but it's more than enough for indoor and outdoor uses. It's not created for high output.
    • Tritium slot
    Improvements/Considerations:
    • The original tail switch is a little too exposed for my liking, but luckily, my version came with an optional recessed tail cap replacement that covers the switch perfectly. I think it comes down to personal preference, as the non-recessed tail cap gives you easier access to the button. The button is solid and made of titanium with some solid spring to it as well. A keychain hole would be nice too.
    • I'm really struggling to think of any improvements, it's just such a well-rounded light.

Great review! Also love how you used for a couple weeks and then gave your thoughts after some use, and taking it apart on camera and explaining how it goes back together was helpful too 🙌🏼👌🏼

Hi Niall, I hope it helps you decide what to get! It's a great little EDC, especially if you don't need a heap of light to get by. The copper version looks better imo. Thanks for stopping by.

Just an small bit of information.
The 219b that came before in the mini pineapple had a max lumen of 240.
He hasn't updated this on his site unfortunately.
The new 519a emitter is capable of 800-900 lumens. Due to the small battery and less amps + driver limits it's capable of +-500 lumens.
    Enjoy the light 🤘🏻🙂

Hey Tom, yeah the new ones now have the 519a. I have another S2+ with a 3000K 519a, and it's a lot brighter. Of course larger though. For a small EDC like this, it's quite impressive already, though more of a light I'd use around the house or in my pocket for up to 20-50m. I'd love to try one of the copper/brass ones. Still don't have any lights made of those materials.

@@DarrenYeoYT these new emitters are amazing! Good beam quality and when dedomed even better then 219b in color tint. High cri to! What else do we want 😆.
I have an fwaa in cu with 519a 5700k dedomed. Sooo rosy 🤤.
I've been carrying my ts10 from wurkkos lately in brass. See if you can get one of those. 14500 size. Very beautiful emitters to and powerful! Very good quality for the price. And not to heavy because of its size.
I love bigger lights but these smaller onces are just so practical.

I have one in copper for over a year now, Great for indoor use at night easy on the eyes but my switch feels mushy. Excellent video good to see Aussie torch reviewers.

Hey Koch, I was thinking of getting a 14500 version in brass - I like the yellowish colour. Guess I'm late to the torch party but figure never too late :D thanks for watching!

Really enjoyed your review of this light. I've had mine in my pocket since I received it several months ago. Thanks for the tip about the double-tap to enter the "turbo" mode. Had no idea that existed.

    • @DarrenYeoYT
      @DarrenYeoYT  Год назад +1

Hey Garrett, glad you found my review helpful! It's a bit tricky to double tap as there's some friction between the button and the housing. But it works :D I've been eyeing a copper/brass version.

Extremely interesting flashlight for not a lot of money. I'm considering either brass or copper, non-ribbed and this nice new tailcap. Good review sir.

It has the look and feel of a custom light. Brass/copper would be a nice option. Better heat dissipation than titanium.. also looks nicer in my opinion. Thank you for your support.
