I am in Canada too. How did you get the corals shipping from USA to your Canadian address or did you go across the border with proper paperwork??? Rubios corals doesn't seem to say anything about shipping to Canada. Thanx.
Where did you purchase those and how much? I have been looking for Rock Anemone's and they are so expensive from the WWC, Astin Aqua Farms, and Live Aquaria. I would really like to have one or two but cannot afford them. Tank looks great.
Half from Rubios Corals and other half from JJs corals (about about 10 from random shows) They do not ship to canada, if you live close to the border you can ship them to the US and go pick them up though :)
If you were going to quarantine these, what would you suggest for putting them in the QT in a way that they would be easy to remove and put in the DT afterwards? Do they all come on little frag plugs? Is it easy to get them to detach their feet safely?
lots of sand where they cant reach the bottom with their foot!!! once ready should be an easy scoop up and it will release the sand when it finds its new spot

You will need to feed the babies also. Cyclops and baby brines are what I use and just give them a squirt of food at least twice a week.
I have been using ReefRoids, Mysis, and canalus prob every other day

Most wont ship to Canada, you need fisheries permits to ship cross borders. I drove to the US to get them.

What type of anemone is that large one on the left side of the tank?
If my sand bed is like inch and a half deep will they still be able to take hold in the sand bed or should I put them on low rock ?
What did you learn about spawning these?
Do the sexy shrimp eat the babies when the anemones spawn????
Normally I wouldn’t think so … however if they were underfed and hungry most creatures will be more opportunistic

Yep they would be fine and burry their foot in. Likely plant it on the glass

My rock flower anemone I bought more than 10 days but don’t know why it always bury in sand until the light off I can see it .
They will burry their foot inthe sand. they should still have the top out as long as your sand isnt super deep
