      Weekly water change is about the extent of the work! keeping it simple! :P I do have a doser mainly for the acros but its nice to keep an "easy" tank

    I have 5 rock flowers and can even catch them on jetties in Galveston TX on rock.. water nasty but live there. I not dose or anything and mine stay alive with my lps...but u got way more extra $$than me ..but looks beautiful man ..it's amazing

    I took my skimmer out around 6 months ago, and the improvement in the corals has been amazing! All I use is Blue Life FX Pro all in one media and weekly water changes

      Too many will be the point when they are out of sandbed and rock and start going up the walls. Haha. I’m exited for the day when the sandbed is a rainbow of colour!

    I love Rock Flowers. We had to remove some peppermint shrimp from our display. They killed the two small RFA we had. I'm thinking out running a separate tank tied into the MD tank's sump and just dedicate that to Nem's

    Awesome... hope it all turns out.... got a question is you got time to answer.., I have a few rock flowers and there about 1 month old in my tank. Why would 2 be standing erect and have a balloon protruding from their mouths ... my water is stable and has been for months..... thx for your time

    With a coral tank can music be played load? Does loud music affect the coral?

    Took my skimmer out too on my 32g with hundreds of thousands of Zoas, and havnt done a water change in 2y. No issues!

      If on the sandbed they will move a bit.. if on rock once they find a nook for their foot they tend to stay put

    I’m running a algae scrubber and skimmer with 10% weekly water change. What is the best and safest way to lower my phosphate levels for my mixed reef. I’m at .12ppm currently and 0 Nitrates.

      You need to up your no3. Po4 easiest way is gfo. But go slow and don’t over do it

      I don’t vacuum it for fear of sucking up a hidden baby. I give all the credit to my orange lip conch snail! He’s a workhorse cleaner!

      Bottom wipe with damp cloth.. fan i use an air compressor to blow it out

    I keep rock flowers also however I was wondering if I should be concerned with them stinging and killing my acros or or their corals. Does anyone know how potent their sting is on other corals?

      They can sting a bit but not to bad. Mine live around zoas and other stuff without issue

    I'm currently running carbon and filter socks on my nano with a rock flower garden, do you think that'll effect the spawning process? And are you broadcast feeding or spot feeding?

      If you see them spawn I would just turn off the return pump for an hour or so. As for carbon I don’t think so as I have some on both tanks. I broadcast feed the tank but will spot feed the babies to ensure they get food

      I shutdown this tank when i moved and merged it with another ones (ironicaly about to merge all my smaller tanks into a bigger frag tank..) working on getting down to just 2 tanks

    WOW! Test tube babies! Crazy! How did that go? I recently discovered how beauiful these are and want to start out with one but several problems..maybe.. Is a 10 gallon nano to small due to the fact they cruise around, also My tank has been cycled for 4 months now. I heard I had to have a mature tank, is that true. I found a person that I want to make an order from anway and he has some good price beautys. I do hope to have some babies too and hope they self propagate! I dont get how they just release sperm in the water and you saw it, just so crazy. I had no idea. Was it masturbating or something...lol

      haha things like temp, moon cycles ect can trigger spawning. a little 10g would be perfect for a rock flower tank!

      Can I ask your opiononlighting? I have a current orbit and not getting much growth so For my new tanks I want good lighening that will give me more growth and color pop. I cant afford 5th generation radions so thinking either 4th or 3rd generation or kessil or ai. Might go with used as well. One thing I like about my current is hardly no disco ball effect. It has 120 degree lens. I like a shimmer and dont mind a little disco effect but to much drives me nuts, What is a good light for my needs
