I do have a question that maybe can be answered in a video. I currently have a 20gal long with mixed coral. I am struggling with maintaining alkalinity because my calcium seems to never drop. How can I go by keep alkalinity stable in a nano tank without having to dose calcium too
Love your rock flowers, I currently have 2 in my 20 gal hex mixed reef. Wish mine would stay on sand bed, they are currently tucked between rock and sand, my wife calls them taco and pancake. Love your channel and you inspired me to set up both my tanks. Thank you
I’ve got a few easy to keep sps in there now but just manually dosing carbocalcium. I’ve got a video on my channel of the tank if you get time to check it out.
Hey Devin, so I made my own Fuge light blockers a few months ago. For not having a 3D printer, they work ok...just saw yours on VCA... 2 sets ordered! Thanks again!
Super jelly bout that fat head dendro!! Lol never find em local. Have few head of sun Coral but definitely have been keeping my eyes open for a dendro. Love the tank n simplicity of it. Great job
Thanks! It took me ages to find a fathead dendro too! then my single head almost died.. and thankfully a bunch of babies came back you can see the skeleton of the original head in the middle of it.
Hola ReefDudes... espectacular tu reef, quiero preguntarte cuales son los parametros para mantener las rockflower. De antemano saludos desde Colombia. Gracias por los videos
Absolutely love that Nano tank. Every time you do an update. It really makes me want to setup the 20 gal bow front tank. Thinking about just plumbing it into the sump for my display tank. Love those Rock Flowers. Question for you on the Devil's Armor. How fast do they grow for you? My son got a six polyp frag at KOR. We now have 15. Also love your scrabble eggs. They are another prolific grower for us.
I got my at KOR too. I did splitnmy frag and put a few heads in the big Tank and those in the nano. You can prob go look at my original pic on Instagram to get an idea I’ll see if I can count later :). Scrambled eggs have started to take off the past little while too!
The nano looks awesome. Curious as to why you use mix up your alk with powder instead of using a liquid alk? I maintain my parameters in my 30 gal with kalk in my ato
I have place couple of rock anemones on my tank they are on a rock but one it's orange which is the biggest however its not totally open it's some what sunken into the rock. It has been in the tank for about 4 days. The small green is on top of a rock and it's partially open. The green I place on the tank today. Should I worry about the orange one? I also have a hammer coral and frogs spawn and they look very healthy they are not close to the corals. Any advice it's greatly appreciated.
@@ReefDudes Thank you! The green one it's smaller and seems to like the spot on the rock it's not on a hole like the bigger orange that most of it's body it is hidden in the hole. I hope that it comes out soon or move spot if we're it's at it's not comfortable for it. Thanks for your help!
whats your PAR recomendation for LPS dominated tank ? im using 2 reefled 90 on 90x60x50(cm) tank .. running 50% intensity for blue, 10% white right now.
Magnetic stir that’s crazy Ive never seen one, so useful.
Tank looks beautiful! These videos based on nano tanks are helpful for us small tank people 🤪
Thanks Miguel! happy to help :D Let me know if there is anything specific in the nano realm you would like to see a video on :)

Thanks for the par readings!
Jadon_outdoors welcome :)
That mixer was the most baller thing I've seen in the salt water hobby. Talk about work smarter not harder.
Cochise Star they work well for mixing the Red Sea test kits too :)
These top down shots are dope brother! Well done with everything you are doing!
Infamous Aquatics thank you sir
Tanks looking great love the rock nem . 🔥🔥🔥
What a great video!
Thanks Eric!
AUTOAQUA AWC dude... you're life will completely change and you're going to love waterchanges
One day!! I’ll make it happen!
Very nice. Hopefully I’ll get mine looking this good morning he day. I’d love to add some acros but just need to get a doser set up first.
If you start getting into hard coral a doser will make your life easier once you get a few in there :)

Amazing
Wow my magicians are growing crazy fast for you Dev, tanks rock'N, rock flower'N that is 🤪
I bumped them and they closed up haha but that one head has been doing well!!!!
Perfect timing on this video. I just got my AI prime hds today.
Good choice! Great lights!
I like them so far. Brighter than kessil 160s. Just trying to learn this programming part. But love them so far.
@@TheAnubis80 let me know if you have any questions on it :)

I have 2 zoa colonies with a rock flower in them and have not had any issues with either of them.
Dave Van Lier excellent! One big happy family!
Awesome, love it
Thank you!
Amazing! Are you going to put some rock flowers in the big reef?
Thanks for the nano update for us nano guys. I wonder if those par numbers are theoretically the same on a hydra 52, awsome tank sir
Another thing you have to count the rodi time to fill as part of the water change lol 😂
Lol...its pronounced 'tool', although spelled tulle but most guys wouldn't know that. New sub here, great looking nano!
Good to know! heheh thanks for setting me straight and welcome!

Powder alk is cheaper than liquid :)
Are rock flower anenomes an easy starter coral and do they host any symbiotic relationship ? your tank is looking amazing.
Thank you! Yes I do find them very easy and don’t do anything special for them.
Can we get your lighting profile. Would love to try it.
Ill see if i can upload the file in the near future :)
Do you have to feed the rock flowers?
Need no. I do to try and encouraging spawning. They will catch Mysis or other meaty foods when I broadcast feed
Great nano tank! What were you using to film underwater? The quality was excellent.
gstmatt95 thank you! I picked up a used Panasonic underwater camera. It’s awesome amzn.to/2Xhai0t
How high was the light from the water??
What ever the stock bracket was. Not 100% sure. Prob 8” ish

They are pretty though, if they dont like a spot they can move and find one they like. give it a few m more days.

Tank is looking killer sir!!!! What camera are you using for the under water shots?

Hello! What kind of Fabric is the one you add on the intake area?
Polyfill type of stuff. i bought a meter of it from the fabric store. Just make sure its pure and doesnt have any additives.
How high is the light off the water?
whats all are u using for flow on this tank? and settings
I had a Nero 5 on the back wall :)

What salt are you using?
Right now just IO
Rocking the flowers dude, did you use cold water or same temp for the wc?
It’s similar ish. Maybe slightly cooler. The pump in mixing bin gets it up close to tank temp when i leave it going over night.
What made you run this colour over the AB+ schedule for Primes?
I started with ab+ and tweaked it from
There
Am I blind and can't see your powerheads or do you just not have any in the tank?
I have a nero5 it blends in very well with the back wall :)

Accept Cryptocurrency NANO ?
Wash the Floss before put it in the Tank 🤦🏼♂️
