- So many of you asked us for more Lore on the Mythos and History of Dreadford and we decided to oblige by creating this new series called "Lore of the Nosferatu" where we will go deeper into the Dreadford Mythos. We hope you will enjoy.
In this first Chapter, Ivan, The Preacher will tell us a story on how The Tower first formed and a little of their beliefs and ideology.

Amazing origin story. Well done Dreadford Chronicles. Once again you made some cool stuff for a series that me feel less like the world is rotting away for real. I love new series with universes full of depth. They're proof that wonder and genres can be born anew. I wonder what's the story with these other houses that are not part of the King's Court? I get what they are meant to be by the occupations of the founders, but what are their gimmicks? Is house Basilisk the equivelant of Clan Lasombra? What is the deal with these scorpion guys? I can't wait to learn more. Keep up the good work.
Thanks for such a nice comment! There is no rule that a certain house must belong to a certain faction. Any house can belong to either side. This is just the state of affairs now and it will start to show as the story moves forward (and backwards!). The factions are more like culture or ideology and Dreadford has a lot of conspiracies, personal grudges, agendas and vendettas, so how much anyone is loyal to it varies by individual. I wouldn't say the Basilisks are the equivalent of the Lasombra but I can see the parallels, I can tell you they deal a lot in entropy (in the thermodynamics sense, not chaos). There is a Basilisk in the Court and he has shown up already. All other Houses will soon appear and I think you are gonna like to discover for yourself. Thank you for your enthusiasm and support.

Hey there @jbos5107! When we started writing these stories we thought of doing animation or comics, but it was very expensive. In a stroke of luck we did the "Eternal Shadows" video and agreed it worked and we kept making them. Thanks a lot for the support. We are very happy that you enjoying it.
