Very informative. But in the example of grandfathering, you should also tell that if the cost price of the share is more than the deemed price on Jan 31 st then the gain will be calculated on original cost price and not the deemed price

Sir I have watched many video but never watched a detailed video like this . hatsoff sir for giving such an information to us
Got good knowledge of tax, even after trading for more than a decade !
Thanks for creating this video. Can you also explain how tax should be calculated if you invest using SIPs and withdraw money after few years?
Video was awesome. It improved my knowledge and cleared my doubts about tax on equity shares and all. So thanks to you bro❤️🔥🙏👍
The only video I awaiting since 1 year
sabse pyara last section tha.. CA Rachana ke sath conversation ka :D xD

Very informative. But in the example of grandfathering, you should also tell that if the cost price of the share is more than the deemed price on Jan 31 st then the gain will be calculated on original cost price and not the deemed price
Thanks, I had a doubt there.
Thanks a lot !! Easy to understand, clear and extremely helpful.... subscribed
Thanks, I got clarification about off-setting losses in short-term & Long term gains.
Too much complicated... Things should be simple... Govt has complicated things so much that it's impossible for normal individual to digest information overload... Moral of the story aam aadmi will keep suffering...
But you guys are doing great job... 👍👍
Learning is a process...start it...
Agreed. Tax and Legal matters have been purposefully obfuscated so the common man can be manipulated with it
Exactly, I feel the same.. most people don’t file tax because it is over complicated.. it should be simple... this complication lead to brokering.. if Indian public has this rich mindset or capability we would have been developed country.. how can one even understand tax system when there is only few CAA few hardly knows everything in and out... I had 1lakh loss on equity but I didn’t know this and failed to put in my ITR.. nothing can be accomplished in India without a broker...
You both are amazing, already following both of you.
i loved the way you explained, here is my suggestion at time 22:50 in your video, LTCG is taxed @10% even when you are in 30 percent tax slab, the way you explained you will save 10 thousand yearly not 30 thousand. Thanks for such wonderfully explained video
loved this one! two of my fav youtubers came together on this video.. great content :)
The bonus tip was just Amazeballs!
Being a CA student I can understand it easily 😯.
But I wonder how others will understand it!!!!
Being a CA Aspirant, loved your collaboration with a Chartered accountant.
that’s a great knowledge video💥
This is really a great video, but as for me I make huge profits on my investment since I started trading with Mr Harry Webar
Same here, I made $12,400 profits on investing since I started trading with Mr Harry Webar his trading strategies are too notch am winning consistently trading with him. He's really the best broker, I've made a lot of profit investing with him.
I heard a lot of investing with Mr Harry and how good he is, please how safe are the profit?
I trade with him, The profit are secured and over a 100% return on investment directly sent to your wallet.
😭 I've seen a lot of recommendation about Mr Harry Webar, Please can I have his info? I want to invest 2,000usd with him.
I just sent him a message and he responded. Thanks a lot!
Mam, I am a big follower of your RUclips channel, but I do it understand Hindi, a small request is when you make videos in Hindi kindly add subtitles so that people like me an also can watch and gain knowledge from your videos.
Will soon translate all videos in English, on our new channel LLA English. 5-7 videos already done
I am company secretary student it's so easy for me to understand. Maza aaya dekh kar
True, It took me a week to realise how much STT i had been paying on my trades as a newbie😂
Was it being paid automatically? I mean how did you pay that tax?
@@ajay2552 it get's charged per trade automatically
Lots of doubts has been cleared about tax . Thanks to you and your team . One question in my mind that one person comes under lower tax slab with salary + capital gain , then he is liable to give tax. But if with salary plus capital gain both together will not reach to lower tax slab then still one have to pay capital gain tax.please confirm.
behad kaam ka video shukriya ❤
So if I use method of "tax harvesting" will I loose the benefit of compounding ....or there will be no impact?
Yahi doubt hai,no tax at the cost of compounding.
Compound daily hota hai share market me so koi loss nhi hoga
Agle din ya jaldi hi wapas khareed loge toh kuch farak nahi padega
No
You're making it so simple for a science background student like me.
Thank you 🤗
When she says "Uss date pe itna, to aaj ki date pe kitna?". It made me nostalgic yaar. My tution teacher would say so while explaining unitary method.
Scam 1992 ko scam krke deka hai😂lol
I got both notifications on same time!😍
I saw this first time today. I really appreciate that it is explained in very simple terms and examples
Have actually been trading for about 2 months now and just about every trade backfires and slaps in my face . Nearly impossible for me to catch more than a few points . I try to do top down analysis but it doesn’t work for me . I say to myself , clearly I’m in the 90% that lose money , so I open a demo account, do my analysis , then take the opposite of what I would normally take and get the same result . I’m starting to feel hopeless, Any advice from experience trader?
My dear, I was in same situation 9 months ago, I never had savings, my children pays for my utilities and other few expenses, my pension was so little but after taken SBA loan, I meet with JULIANA GUNAWAN LEE, whom a friend of mine introduce me , she actually help trade with 90% of the loan and guess what? I have made 7 times multiple of the the loan I took and still making profit. Never new financial success was so easy, what i never archive in my years of service now open to me to explore easily. Thank you madam

Do i have to pay tax on STCG if i am unemployed and i earn short term profit by borowing money from my brother. But demate account is mine and PAN is also mine.
Excellent! In the TAX harvesting part, you told us about the realisation of the profit in equity. Kindly help me with the following scenario. Suppose I purchase 10 shares at 100 rs each and say its price rises to 200. and if I sell 50 % of the shares to book the profit, will it attract any kind of taxation considering both short term and long term aspect? Is it a good strategy to book profit and save tax.
Thanks
ig no
Arun Jaitley ji announced long term capital gain 112A on 1st Feb 2018 and which is applicable from 1st April 2018 and investors still had two months to sell all his stock and pay no taxes if grandfathering was not introduce then market will get crash because all the long term share will be sold by all the investors in order to save taxes
Therefore grandfathering considered FMV as on 31 st Jan 2018 (one day before the budget was announced)
Do consider double brokerage, STT etc. Other expenses when you sell and buy again shares every year.
Considered and already made the video on the hidden charges of demat account.
Bottom line: zerodha upstox are still best and 90% of charges are levied by govt or sebi, so they are all common in every demat account.
Amazing, please make some playlist where engineers can learn taxation system of India
This channel is amazing

Doubt:
My LTCG Equity profit: 10k
After paying 10% on my LTCG 9k,
Now do I have to pay 30% (or any other as per tax slab) on 9k as well?
Thanks for explaining the different topics really well! Is the 5000 dividend tax exemption for each company or on the total of all companies in your demat account?
Each company
I like the way How both of u give various examples to make us understand the concept👍🙏lots of respect to LLA
Apart from the tax deducted by Broker SGST/ CGST after sale of equity, one have to pay Capital Gain Tax. Please advice
Yes, SGST/CGST are tax paid for stock exchange against transaction, one have to pay taxes on overall income also.
