    Yes. I started purchasing gold even before my two daughters born. It was 150 per gram in GRT thangamalai, Chennai. If not lavish marriage, made decent and nice marriage without compromising on any money matter. Liked by relatives and all who attended marriage. Today with rent income of 7000 from 1 bhk myself and my wife living simple life. My son in laws want to help us. But we are keeping very cordial relationship without money matters. I am living in Banashankari Bangalore

      I always wandered, Dont we have to pay something on the remittance. I live in EU and already paid tax on it so the IN gov cannot tax the remittance because of the double tax treaty.
      How is it with UAE and IN. If UAE has 0 tax then it will be taxed in India from my logic.

    I didn't become financially independent until I was in my late 40's, and I'm still in my 40's. In addition to having purchased my second home and earning money on a monthly basis through passive income, I've also achieved three out of five goals. I just hope this inspires someone to realize that it doesn't matter if you don't have any of these things yet, you can start today no matter your age. Change your future by investing! I made a rather big decision by investing in the financial market.

    This is the best guest on the show till date. We need more of these guests the average middle guy who can get to this not the IIM guys who joined at an early stage start up then had ESOPs worth crores to cash out by their 40s. Kudos to Wint wealth for the excellent video editing as well. One this you missed out , I felt asking him is "What is your future ?" At age 41 is too young to sitting without thinking about the next 20 years. I hope to have his attitude one day.

He is living in USA for the last 14 years and has multiple apartments in Bengaluru and lot of other investments in India. He told everyone to move out of India if you want to become rich before 40. This is for people who want to lead a peaceful life after 40. I am still paying EMIs for my home loan and I am working in a MNC for 19 years. All my cousins are NRIs and EMI free.

      @@abcjuicedrinker To get into IIT/ IIM, you have to come through RESERVATION and have to be under 10 ranks amongst 15L application, that is so difficult. Having joined there, you will not work in India for long.

      @@HemanthKumar-pr4qg Everyone around me has 1cr corpus (Excluding primary residence and ancestral wealth) like my bike mechanic, carpenter and electrican though they are much more older than me. And I live in a Tier 3 city. My gut feeling is 1Cr is the new 10Lakhs now.

      1 crore (excluding primary home and ancestral wealth) is an amount which 95% of Indians won't achieve in their life. Stop calling yourself poor.
      With 1 crore you and your family's future is secure for roti kapda makan. People who struggle for those are poor, not you.
      It may not be enough to retire for your lifestyle (and mine too) but don't try to gain sympathy for it.
