I’m curious to see how she plays out as a champion. Limiting the deck to primarily duo region units is simultaneously very limiting in selection but broad in functionality. I can see it being really strong or total garbage depending on how many added cards end up as duo region and the strength of them.
even if they dont add cards now they'll do in the future and she might be good or bad depending on that but what i like about runeterra is that every expansion gives older champions new chances, who would have thought azir would become what he is with irelia
She's a strong Bandle Tree enabler. And a good synergy with fellow multi region Champs like Poppy with Impact.
Lemme add Lulu, as all three of them make weaker allies STRONK.
@@kungfubeat321 I dont know if she really 'enables' the bandle tree. They benefit from the same things, but it seems like tristana's gameplan is way, way more agressive
@@Freekymoho Sorry, I meant she synergizes with it. As she powers up the multi regs. Who so far are weaker units that need powerups from Trist/Poppy/Lulu etc.

Not gonna lie, I was expecting Tris to be Bilgewater/BC so her being just straight-up BC was surprising. Especially since every other Yordle was multi-region.
Huh that would make sence considering that she combos with multi-regon things
I didn’t realize at first and I was like “oh cool, BC works well with summoning stuff from lots of regions with all the 1 cost summons!” Then I realised it was multi-region, not multiple regions. I’m a little disappointed ngl
All other Yordle champions have ties to other regions (except Teemo, he's just there because he was added before Bandle City), but Tristana is the one Yordle who fits solely in Bandle.

This was the champion I was waiting for when I first heard the news about this expansion. I am so excited to jam in games with a Tristana focused deck.

Why is it so difficult to get certain original voice actors for some of these champions into LoR? I can understand some champions like Malphite where their VO is simply really old, or ones like Ekko, Taliyah, and Lucian where they straight up replaced the voice actor for posterity, but Elspeth is still very much active, and she voiced Tristana in the Don't Mess With Yordles cinematic, too.

A swarm multi-region impact deck seems interesting
Imo impact could look a lot cooler if each stack of impact gets a shot. So 4 impact on one unit shoots 4 shots

Honestly the broken portion of that combo is just poppy as she is suuuuper busted in aggro in general. Heck poppy can even make poro decks even more legit.

Every champion card will have its own mechanics and there will be cards supporting it that’s how card games work, so this addition definitely makes the bandle summons really good much more reason to play with aggro trist

What? In what way does that make sense thematically? Why does Tristana get that effect instead of other follower? Impact keyword would be so fitting since her auto attacks already do spread damage in League. Senna was already kinda weird somehow providing the same magic as veigar/forcibly synergizing with him when they have literally nothing to do with each other and the very random "slow spells that damage become fast" effect. What is riot doing?

these are the kind of champion i like... they are so flexible and can be played in so many decks! Tristana and Poppy are my favorites until now...
The problem with multiregion is the RANDOM-NESS of the cards or the effects
You need at least giving random keywords with another card
I like the flavor on this on, in the lore Tristana basically act as level headed leader to the rest of the Yordles. In game she is champion the ties all theses double region Yordles together.

Like with most Champions were probrably only seeing the first half of this depending on how many dual region cards are being added. Even if she's not immediately super strong now another expansion with more dual region cards would definately fix it or maybe a way to treat single region cards as being dual region. Either way I'm excited to see how she will shake things up.
Or she's just good with Poppy. We'll see.

Feels a little underwhelming imo...When I think of Trist, I'd think of explosions and cannons etc. Might be another 'Leblanc' situation but let's see how it goes. Also, it seems almost every champion has Quick Attack now...and to be frank, I think 'Impact' is kinda a boring design

Impact is the logical conclusion of each keyword pair. Elusive/fearsome, barrier/spell shield, challenge/vulnerable, quick.a/double attack, regen/tough and now overwhelm/impact.
agree. I think she's very good or will be eventually. However... the flavor of her feels entirely lost, unless her champ spell is good. Seems like she's just Bandle mascot, which could have just been a follower engine like Von Yipp
Yeah she’s pretty lame, she’ll probably be good because even LOR suffers from tremendous power creep but the multi-region thing has nothing to do with Trist. Pretty big disappointment after Veigar’s AP generation was even incorporated.
There really should've been something to show her jump resets or her bomb. Maybe attack the nexus on kill or something idk.

What is the difference between Manifest and Invoke other than Manifest is for multi region and Invoke is for celestial?
in 1:43 you see that "Bandle Gunners" ability states that if you fulfill her requirement she ("grants" herself impact 4 time), which then means that impact is stackable?
and in Poppy video you see that her evolve version states that she "grants" everyone equal or below her power impact.
