I love how Poppy's humbleness and Veigar's ego perfectly complement each other so that they're both sharing compliments, haha.
I never really put those two together as the hero vs the villain, never crossed my mind but I'm all for it now that I hear their interactions.
I've said it once and I'll say it a thousand times.
Riot should make a comedic children's cartoon with the Yordles of Bandle City. Give it the same level of quality as Arcane but with the tone of Avatar the Last Air Bender and BOOM. You've got Rioters from pre-K on through life.

I just checked the league wiki and I believe he must be a cross between a regular god warrior and a baccai because of his magic.
@@smashrosa8111 Xerath is the most powerful ascended. He could handle 2 of the most powerful ascended, Nasus and Renekton, at his weakest. He literally humiliated Nasus in a story.
Veigar is not a match. Even for an arrogance like Veigar, he is too powerful to be underestimated. That's why he believes Xerath is a match.
Xerath is so powerful, not even Mordekaiser, the enslaver of Veigar and the death lord whom Veigar is inspired, would dare hope to defeat him easily. He would defeat even Mordekaiser.
I love how Poppy and Veigar are basically validating each other.

but if you compare him to either an ascended or darkin or an aspect or even someone like ryze he isn't probably near their tier
I don't think he is either in the same tier as Viego because he wouldn't have any way of dealing real damage to him or any of the other undeads for the matter
I do think he could very easily beat all the other human mages like lux or even syndra
@@salasy Now talking without joke, Veigar actually could defeat a darkin or an ascended. Their weakness is literally celestial magic, and even tho Veigar call his magic “darkness” He is lying, It’s just to look evil.
Veigar lore explains how he teached celestial magic to other mages long time ago, before he got enslaved by Morde.
Thats why most of Veigar skills have a cosmos topic; Dark Matter(The most destructive sustance on the universe), Event Horizont(Literally bending space and time to curve it), and Primordial Burst (A Big Bang)
So It wouldn’t actually be a joke if Veigar power is enough to counter and defea easly some of the most powerfull characters in the lore. The trick is that, well, u know, he is too bad at being evil and instead of using his power for something usefull, he is trying to be menacing like Morde.

@@lyg483 but the thing is ascended are made with a kind celestial magic too (very much like aspects) and so they very likely know some of it too or they could be immune to their effect
also darkins are much stronger than even some of the strongest aspects (or atleast aatrox is) so it's unlikely that veigar could stand to them too
and while the ruination lore is kinda crap viego managed to control pantheon without too much trouble so I can see him being able to do the same for veigar
@@salasy Actually no, you have the right idea but It doesn’t work that way.
Ascended (and because of it Darkin) do not have celestial power, the sundisk was made by Celestial power but It doesn’t give Celestial power to those who ascend.
Reason? Simple, the aspect of Twilight has revealed that Celestial Power (specially Moon Light Power, the opposite to the Sundisk power) is the key to kill the darkins, because of their ascended origin.
This is the reason why; 1) Zoe needs to deliver her message about it again, to end the darkins.
2) why there are so little darkins around, since those who weren’t trapped died because of this.
Since Veigar uses celestial magic, even tho he calls It darkness, It’s pretty probable that he would be able to defeat the ascended or the darkin.
Let’s remember that Veigar is actually *really* old, and those who knew celestial magic are already dead because of Mordekaiser and time itself. Only the aspects, some special weapons from the lunari, and Asol are left to overpower the Ascended and the Darkin.
So It wouldn’t be a surprise if Veigar is a relic from the past, able to overpower them too by simple counterpick.
And, about Viego... Yeah, that made 0 sense. Atreus has the strongest will of all characters ever. It was absolute bullshit that. So Idk
I really like Veigar's new voice actor. Much more "big arrogance in compressed package" energy.
You know what would be funny? Mordekaiser coming back, almost dooming the world just to Veigar to accidentally annihilate him with the accumulated darkness Veigar brought to help in dooming the world

@@annolog they literally updated Teemo and Fizz to respond to the yordles. They usually don't backpedal and add new voice lines but they can and have.
Tool glitched with card naming in the Teemo Spell resolves (Thats why the other card is also Teemo). The cards were meant to be Sump Fumes and some others which I can't remember because its all on my other PC.
Didn't notice in editing like I did with Fizz Spell Resolves.
Edit: The RIP as well for Teemo is I think the Stinky Whumps, again tool glitched with card naming and when in post I'm more focused on subtitlting than looking at the cards the tool spat out.

@@alejandropetit6573 Yep thats was the last 2 of the Spell Resolves, the middle 4 I think was something like "ChaosVille" or something which is a internal name. Like the Furious Faefolk internal name is PurpleWarrior or something.
For a moment I was afraid it was cannon that there were lots of Teemos everywhere and they were aware of it.

Bandle City has the best voice lines hands down. Every single one of Veigar's cards are phenomenal and anything involving the Town Mayor
Whoever voiced Veigar must have been having an absolute ball with these lines.

@@lyg483 that’s the best part! He really is VERY powerful since he goes around defeating evil wizards controlling a village/city just so he can be the head honcho. But in doing so the people of said village/city ended up calling him a hero because “hooray, no more evil wizard!” He can be as strong as Xerath if given time but no one takes him seriously as a villain and that’s why I love him as a champion
