A pocket on your pennies would use up a bit more of the fabric. Love the blanket great way to use up the scraps and the joining idea is lovely. I sew my ends in the exact same way but don’t usually come back . Jenson loos so cute in your shawl, he’s growing up so fast xx

If it's being used for dying I wouldn't even hem it at all. As long as it's not going to fray. Would save on your valuable time. This is only a suggestion Ellie... do what makes you happy. ❤
Hi, whilst listening to your hexie plans it occurred to me. You could add a few french knots in a different colour to the middle of some of the hexagons, instead of changing colours.
Idea for left over oil cloth...mini coasters?
Fab aprons. Could you use the leftovers for a mat for Jenson when he plays play dough or painting? Xx
That was extremely brave to start unpicking your shawl on camera! Glad it’s all working out OK though! Lovely to see you working on your apron and packing your orders.
When sewing in ends I try to go "up and down" under a couple of stitches vertically as it's less likely to undo.
Could you use the magic knot ball to do the border?
Could you use the leftover fabric to make a pocket on your apron
Or the base for wash bags?
