Brother, when you visit Indonesia, please ask local people about everything. Never hesitate to ask us, because Indonesia people is willing to help and or assits you. Hey This is Indonesia, when every people here is helping each other. Welcome to Indonesia.
Did you know that according to several historians, the first time Islam entered Indonesia was brought by traders from Yunan, South China... your hometown... maybe that's why there are many similarities in the characters of people and others with those in your hometown Olwatch Ma and Viona...😍
If you have a long vacation, take a high-speed train to Bandung, then continue to Jogjakarta to visit Borobudur and Prambanan temple. After that I went to Mount Bromo, Mount Ijen in east java. Have a transit to Surabaya, take a ferry boat to Bali. However, be mindful, check your visa period because if overstay they will charge you quite a lot of money.
Malaysian Malay, Malaysian Indian, and non Chinese Indonesian foods (Sundanese, Javan Bugis, Malay, etc) consist of dishes accompanied by rice. Dishes generally have strong flavours and thus have to be toned down by eating them mixed with rice. This allows one to adjust the strength of the flavours according to one's preferences. This also applies to the chillied condiments (sambals or soy/tamarind dips). Eating the dishes by themselves give wrong impressions of the dishes' flavours.
Important rules when picking popular Padang Restaurant such as Garuda, Simpang Raya, or Pagi Sore. Choose only one dish (e.g. rendang, or chicken, or fish), when you pick more than one menu, it literally doubles your cost. Bear in mind that rice is cheap, but that rendang, priced 4x times than the rice.
The Amir Hamzah Mosque is in the TIM complex (Taman Ismail Marzuki), you should go straight in, don't go through the village streets. Ask people, because Google Maps is often inaccurate
bro need socialize with the locals more, Indonesian is foreign-friendly enough to talk to. even they dont understand the language, they often use body language or if u show the Gmaps / the places you want to go they will pointing out the way. welcome to indonesia 🫶
Y From my last visit to indo ... When you go to restorent or hocker ... You have to ask the owner they are Muslim or not course in indo a lot of people there mix ... Not like Malaysia. They wear songkok but it's just national symbol of Indonesian. Sometimes they serve non halal food.Be careful my friends.
try taking the "whoosh" Chinese fast train that operates in Indonesia on the Jakarta-Bandung route and vice versa.. also try eat at "warteg" it's very delicious, many choice the menu and very cheap price
Don't forger to spend in Istiqlal Mosque, it's the biggest mosque in south east asia. It's near TIM ( Taman Ismail Marjuki) about 3,7 km, 8 minute by car.. Enjoy ramadhan in Jakarta
AirBnB, CouchSurf or alike can save you lots of money. It also means you must interact more with the locals. But, if you travel a lot, that is a must. Do not afraid to ask about anything. There's Indonesian proverb saying, "malu bertanya, sesat di jalan" (if you are too shy to ask, you will be lost on the street). And you did lost LOL.
The first time I discovered this channel was when Yusof and Vion were eating together with Rudy in China. In Indonesia, the two of you don't look like foreigners, because your faces are like Indonesians (local residents). If you get lost using Google Maps, it's best to just ask someone else. 🙏👍

They prefer visiting beautiful mosque..😊
He's done the mistakes. But Don't worry, they're still learning 😅
Y
From my last visit to indo ... When you go to restorent or hocker ... You have to ask the owner they are Muslim or not course in indo a lot of people there mix ... Not like Malaysia. They wear songkok but it's just national symbol of Indonesian. Sometimes they serve non halal food.Be careful my friends.
Novice mistake : You guys didn't interact with the locals but instead choose to shy away
You have to try go to Bandung with fast train in Indonesia...
I have lived in Jakarta for more than a decade
Mantap Bro 👍🏼
From Bangladesh 🇧🇩👍
try taking the "whoosh" Chinese fast train that operates in Indonesia on the Jakarta-Bandung route and vice versa.. also try eat at "warteg" it's very delicious, many choice the menu and very cheap price
dont ask google, just ask the people, Indonesian people its friendly they will try hard to ask you question and find what you gonna do
❤❤❤Love you guys ❤❤❤
8:50 wow, the dome of the mosque is reminds me with Islamic center Tulang Bawang Barat in Lampung
still alot of indonesian didnt know basic english 😅
Salam, pls don't be shy to ask the local. Just ask where is the masjid.
Yusuf grows back his hair very fast 😅😅
😁...
have a nice travel by the way i saw u in rudy chen vlog in china right?
Don't forger to spend in Istiqlal Mosque, it's the biggest mosque in south east asia.
It's near TIM ( Taman Ismail Marjuki) about 3,7 km, 8 minute by car..
Enjoy ramadhan in Jakarta
are you coming to my home country Singapore? Do come! Alot of mosques and halal places here too!
if I'm not mistaken, in Indonesia they don't serve free food for iftar.
Sorry if our country has many shortcomings🙏🙏🙏
AirBnB, CouchSurf or alike can save you lots of money. It also means you must interact more with the locals. But, if you travel a lot, that is a must. Do not afraid to ask about anything. There's Indonesian proverb saying, "malu bertanya, sesat di jalan" (if you are too shy to ask, you will be lost on the street). And you did lost LOL.
please hold your phone carefully, because sometimes there is thief who will grab your phone
Jakarta is safe, especially on narrow village streets. Don't lead misguided opinions 👍
mahalo banget donk 🤭
I think eating at a Padang restaurant for 300 thousand rupiah for two persin is too expensive in Indonesia
Interesting alleyway. Give me jonker walk vibe. Why i never come across any when i went to jakarta?
If you don't know something, ask them please. They will answer you happily. Don't hesitate..!!!
I think that fruit dish was not pinepple but jackfruit called nangka.. that was curry of jack fruit
🎉
Sekali kali Makan diwarung warteg murah enak
Jangan ragu untuk bertanya. " Lalu bertanya sesat dijalan" Itu hanya kata pepatah namun fakta membenarkan ❤❤❤😂😂😂
The first time I discovered this channel was when Yusof and Vion were eating together with Rudy in China. In Indonesia, the two of you don't look like foreigners, because your faces are like Indonesians (local residents). If you get lost using Google Maps, it's best to just ask someone else. 🙏👍
Finally you find one of padang resto.
