I don't disagree with you in the real world. But in this competition if your canvas refuses to allow you to do a tattoo the meets the brief, you are in trouble. Not saying that is what happened in this situation because I do not understand enough about types of tattoos to make a call.
in the real world, she would have to do what the client wants. but this guy came on the show, and to be on the show you have to accept that the artist has much much more liberty, in order to meet the challenge. real world, she should have listened to him, but she had every right (and bravery tbh that guy was an ass and scary looking) to tell him to come off his high horse, he signed up for this show to be a canvas.

Can you imagine hearing anyone (hairdresser, makeup artist, tattooist, doctor...) talk about you like that, as a client? Frickin' gross, man.
I personally don't have any tattoos however I love them and that's why I watch this show. I'm almost done though by this, Chris said I think he's dropping the ball sends a guy home on an army pinup , and keeps the guy who has a smooshed in face really. I think the judges were drunk that day had to be
Most of these artists are soooo disrepectful. The main thing they do is try and immediately get the client to change the positioning or design. They don't care about the tattoo looking perfect for the client. They just want to win a competition.
I understand technical flaws, but sometimes I wonder how these people don’t see how horrible some designs are. how do some of these designs make it to skin.

You're 100% correct. Scalloped and great hammerheads both have pretty much the same shaped head as the tattoo. And there are more that have very similar shaped heads. Maybe the bonnet head doesn't but that's about it
Exactly! Do they not know what a hammerhead is? ☠️
Emily has topped Sarah in my mind for craziest chick on Ink Master.
Sarah isn’t crazy, she is autistic and has spoken about how that made her act differently than everyone else. When she was on the show she hadn’t been diagnosed yet.
And really, all she was, was passionate about her art.
Sarah is honestly one of the nicest people ever in real life.
Emily was just a meangirl who loved to see people fail, and Sarah was the kid at school that would hiss at people
Nah julia will always be the worst😂
@@SELVESTiR the baby voice makes my blood boil
i always love seeing how the canvas interaction really went on with julia vs the way she explains it…also, love how they flip to her interview in her fake, sweet voice then the next scene is her completely cutting the guy off in her real, agressive tone. Also, the face she makes when they say they aren’t just going to believe her bs story is great!! like a kid with their hand caught in the candy bowl
I gotta say - No way would I allow 2 people who hate each other's guts put a permanent piece of artwork on my body. These canvases have some balls, that's for sure! 😬
Mark had 9 lives in this season
This show proves how many people just have YES MEN around them. People telling them “You are SO good “ instead of BEING HONEST. Almost every season there is 3-5 people who should have NEVER EVEN APPLIED FOR THIS SHOW
I know that it's a competition ~ the barely concealed hostilities drive the point home ~ but the grotesque glee the competitors take in each others mistakes are almost worse than the mistakes themselves!
It's a TELEVISION SHOW
I think the contestants have said that the show is just edited that way.
Ink master still can't get over Julia suprise pikachu face😂
I thought that artist with the pink heart and piercing on his cheek had an infected bee sting or something. When they had him close up I was like ahhhhhh huh
@Ickess Holy moly! Almost the same thing for me! At first I thought it was one big pimple! I was like, "That is so d@mn ugly!" . Why would he do that? It looks horrible! Bad choice to draw attention to a piercing like that. Where it looks like a bee sting, blemish, wart or pimple, etc.!😬
@@frauleinmona definitely shouldn't have gotten the tattoo around it...I agree with you guys the pink heart makes it look like something is wrong with his face vs it being cute...
@@Leoprincess3038 Yeah! I can't believe he doesn't realize how bad that looks! Yikes! I'll bet any amount of money that the majority of people who first see that on his face think the same thing me and the OP thought. Bee sting, some sort of spider, gnat or mosquito bite. Or a big pimple or perhaps a small, inflamed cyst. Not a good look! And definitely *not* cute!😖
“You lost a tattoo contest but you won a brother” that was neat.
YES!! I loved seeing Julia being put in her place by that big muscular dude! Her fake-ass innocent little girl act is annoying AF. She comes across as being an awful human being who covers that all up with an overly childlike persona that just grates on your nerves and makes you hate her instead of liking her. With that being said, of course when telling her side of the story with the guy not there to defend himself she's going to embellish and lie to make herself look better to keep up the act and she thought she got away with it then BOOM! Her reaction when Dave announced her canvas was there was priceless! In that moment she knew she was screwed.
I'm just happy that guy was able to come back and tell the judges what actually happened because he seemed like a nice person who was just trying to add his two cents into the design of the tat but instead gets disrespected by a little girl with an attitude problem. No way he was going to take that shit.
It is weird thar you like big mascular men "puttinf women in her place". He was asshole. She was asshole. However he came there for free tattoo and was told what challenge was
That hula dancer looked like she has a moustache. No way he shouldve gotten away with that face.
"Today, were doing tattoos."
*everybody groans/sighs*
"Man, this is gonna be rough because doing a tattoo challenge means needing to do clean line work and detail."
"There's more. You need to tattoo on an actual person."
*everyone let's out groans, one of them cusses for sure.*
"Tattooing on humans is so difficult. You can hardly pull a clean line because they're moving too damn much! I don't know how I'm gonna be able to get through this challenge!"
Jasons smile when they announced japanese style is so cute to me man
24:56 this is defenitely the worst tattoo of all seasons, that trauma to the skin is apprentice level, i know that IS on a hard part of the body but man the tattoo is really painfull tô look at.
Agreeeed. That must have been a god awful healing process
How was Tim even considered as a rival for Cleen
Everyone is so hostile towards each other in this show lol
Producers demanding they play up the whole rivals aspect 🙄🙄🙄
There's a lot of playing it up for the cameras. More conflict = more screentime
@@crazyinsanepenguin Yeah I get that. Tbh I forgot about this show until you replied lol
emily fr needs help, like gurl, the amount of insecurities you have to have to act that way
Literally
There are more than a dozen different kinds of hammerhead shark. And they definitely do have that shape of head. Great, scalloped, scalloped bonnet head.
That Pin Up NOSE!!! I died 😂
Tim's pinup looks like a troglodyte and he blames the canvas lmao
Hmmm, that last one is iffy. A.) Angel's work was all-around pretty darn solid, and B.) Julia should've been sent packing just on the basis that if you're not willing to work with your client, you're in the wrong business.
I don't disagree with you in the real world. But in this competition if your canvas refuses to allow you to do a tattoo the meets the brief, you are in trouble. Not saying that is what happened in this situation because I do not understand enough about types of tattoos to make a call.
@@jgodbee3090 👍👍👍
in the real world, she would have to do what the client wants. but this guy came on the show, and to be on the show you have to accept that the artist has much much more liberty, in order to meet the challenge. real world, she should have listened to him, but she had every right (and bravery tbh that guy was an ass and scary looking) to tell him to come off his high horse, he signed up for this show to be a canvas.
@@z0mbiepuppy840 on top of that in the real word she could have also told him to seek for another artist if they really couldnt agree on anything.
You should get out more.
How did Mark stay as long as he did? His tattoos were real bad
Chris is his best friend of decades that's why he was favoured
this show has taught me one thing: never get a tattoo involving a human face
....I think I'd let Anthony tattoo a face on me 🤔
@@tuschi8039 would let Sausage tattoo a portrait on me 🤗 his energy is amazing ❤ and his art too
"Fuck you Angel."
"Fuck you too."
cracks me up every time XD XD XD
😂😂😂😂😂😂
"You guys can fuck each other all You want, both these tattoos suck"
Julia was so wrong, the canvasser wasn't being that bad and just wanted to see and make SOME changes to the tattoo that will PERMANENTLY be on HIS body! Like the hell
Wow those pinup tattoos were hideous.
LT’s pinup wasn’t that good but tim’s…. Come on bruh
How did LT go home if one dudes looked like it got punched in the face
His lack of experience, was showing more vividly.
Emily always tried to intimidate and smirk at the black artists.
Was thinking the same thing
Omfg!. I saw that like what's her deal?
The last season I got to watch is 4 before it got pulled from Amazon
So thank you for this!! Much appreciated 🥰
Maybe best tattoos of season 5 too please
The guy with the bad art should of gone home. His canvas even told him he didn't like the face of the girl and he still did it
11:04 The way he shaded that woman it looks like she has a straight up mustache! No way my guy! No way! I'd be pissed if that was tatted on me
9:49
I love how he's so proud of that awful tattoo
Title should read: Marks journey on the bottom
I miss this show so damn much. I don't care about the "controversies" or the scripting, it was seeing art, good or bad, being made every week to kick assed music! I miss this!!!!
I miss when some scenes weren’t edited for legit reasons 😬😬😬
The way he said glutinous Maximus is the reason we say ass 😂
My friend has a pretty big tattoo on her ribs, but she sat like a champ. The one on her lower leg was the one where she almost tapped out. I guess that it can differ from person to person instead of 100% hell like this show wants people to hear.
Julia’s canvas should consider himself very lucky with as many canvases returned on her crappy work and bad attitude in REDEMPTION series.
24:37 Oliver's remark is priceless.
Have you noticed theve cut out Oliver Peck. It's only his voice
@@Ramseyp01 I've noticed that in the last couple of video's, I'm not sure what's going on with Oliver and the executives at Inkmaster.
@@adamsmith632 he had a black face scandal and left the show, they chose to edit him out of all the clips and episodes i'm pretty sure
@@nachopeligro Ah, thanks for the information. I was unaware and appreciate it!
As always
21:01 she's ready to punch some one lol xD
I love that Julia has a tattoo of her experience so she can forever remember her being fake af for all of the world to see manipulation at its finest
And it’s basically impossible to cover up lmao, I’d be so embarrassed seeing it on the daily 😂
They need a stickman challenge. That would be hilarious.
5:39 Love the passive-aggression.
Julia should have been kicked off. The judges let her off easy after the way she treated her canvas.
emily is so weird loll
robbie sounds so much like badger from breaking bad everytime he speaks i cant stop imagining badger 😂
Lol yeah he does 😂
17:00 I actually liked Chris and the earlier owl tattoo from the guy that got eliminated
If i got that horse tattoo i would be so incredibly angry. It was god awful
"Best of luck" and "What a joke" -- ick, major ick
This was the first season of Ink Master I ever watched.
Every judgement from the judges should be a blind judging. There is favoritism when they know who did the tattoo.
Julia is physically painful to watch
I like the owl.
This show is rigged af! They sent LT home and Tim stayed with by far one of the ugliest pin ups and worst tattoos Tim's tattoo doesn't even look like a person smh
I forgot how much I disliked Emily. She really just rubs me the wrong way.
I've really gotten into this show... But man, I cannot believe how the artists talk about their canvases! A good chunk of the tattooists should NOT be working with people. They way they talk about the people being tattooed is disgusting - they don't even view them as people... More like cattle or an android without nerves and feelings. Can you imagine hearing anyone (hairdresser, makeup artist, tattooist, doctor...) talk about you like that, as a client? Frickin' gross, man.
Why are the tattoo artists always so mean in this show🧐🙃
It's reality TV. They choose the most pretentious people they can find. That's if any of that trash talk isn't scripted.
Uf, I would be so afraid of karma! Might be a competition, but it says more about you when you are happy to see someone fail.
24:27 the shape is actually pretty accurate to certain species
I want to see the worst tattoos season 3
I personally don't have any tattoos however I love them and that's why I watch this show. I'm almost done though by this, Chris said I think he's dropping the ball sends a guy home on an army pinup , and keeps the guy who has a smooshed in face really. I think the judges were drunk that day had to be
I feel the whole face/skulls facing inward seems arbitrary. Like how does it look better?
Most of these artists are soooo disrepectful. The main thing they do is try and immediately get the client to change the positioning or design. They don't care about the tattoo looking perfect for the client. They just want to win a competition.
It finally clicked what LT's pin-up girl's face reminds me of.. We Happy Few
I love how ole girl acts tough and says y'all can't make me leave them acts all like what she said had anything to do with it lol
I understand technical flaws, but sometimes I wonder how these people don’t see how horrible some designs are. how do some of these designs make it to skin.
