I can't believe the way brunette girl talked to her boss! No class at all. And this is art; it's something that shouldn't be rushed. Liz makes each client feel important. When you're getting something on your body for the rest of your life you don't want to feel rushed.

The appropriate thing to do would've been to have someone not busy offer the client something to drink while waiting and she could've had someone else draws it up if she was busy tattooing another client. These girls want to rush a 5 hour tattoo in 20 minutes but don't even know the basics of client tending or time management. Unbelievable. lol
If she didn't know then she should've asked the client if she was being assisted rather than automatically jumping in and taking over. It's not professional.

Basic Bitch Liz printed off her previous designs for another customer. Maybe she looks at images but I doubt she’d literally print an image off and show it as something she would replicate. She’s a true artist

I'd rather sit in a chair for 4 hours and get a rich, detailed tattoo rather than a rushed 30 minute one. Even if the rushed one was done by a better artist or was a better design.

If you want a proper let's say shoulder to elbow tattoo, drawing it alone can take from 2 hours to a couple of days, and then there is the time it takes to outline, then shade, then color, it's at least 2 sessions, and when you combine it all should take MUCH longer then 10 hours. AND you add the consultation time in as well. So, she is a shitty shitty tattooer that only outlines from printed images(or a liar), there is NO WAY she draws and tattoos an actual piece in 30 minutes.o

I was just thinking that. And the way she says “I have better things to do with my time” shows how much she doesn’t care about individual tattoos. She probably only cares about about super huge outstanding tattoos that get a lot of attention, and she probably doesn’t care about smaller, individual tattoos. Every tattoo should be treated with every ounce on concentration the artist has, no matter how small or simplistic the tattoo is.

All artists need visual reference points, though. Out of the countless things you could be asked to tattoo for someone in a customized way, it's really rare that even a brilliant designer/artist would have an informed and clear mental picture pop right into view without checking certain details for realism (such as how many gills does a shark usually have, etc.)

i find it hilarious how some new girl starts working there to get more experience and do what she loves, and the other artists instantly feel threatened. just because you've been tattooing for a longer period of time doesnt mean you're more than others or cant learn from others aswell. you never know everything, you can always learn something more and truth is, new artists always come up with some bold fresh stuff to the table... so if youre as good as you think you are, that shouldnt threat you at all. recognizing her talent and being nice wont make you less talented or relevant. she's not there to steal your spotlight, she's there to become even better and these girls should learn from it.

And this is why I would avoid someone who said "I have better things to do" on camera to do anything permanent on me.
