- Here is the ultra light camping chair from Aldi. Short video on what to expect if you were to buy it. Most of my camping buddies have bought one and not one of them has had any problems. when you compare this to other brands it stands out.
Great video as always Dale 👍 I remember when Aldi had these in and I really wanted a couple, unfortunately all of our local Aldi's (and we have about 7 within about 10 miles of us) all sold out before I could get any.
Maybe they'll have them in again next year with a bit of luck.
Yes hopefully you will get one next time. I got lucky with mine although I do pop in Aldi on the weekly to see if I can get a bargain.

I had mine out quite s few times now. Still going strong.
Giiod chair and lighter than some that are the same , the feet on the bottom come off lots and sink bad without the bottom sheet. Also the stitching is very poor loose threads and bad quality theead used. I have the OEX one and it is about 230 grams heavier but considerably better made all round material is thicker and stitching is a lot stronger and rhr bottom feet and matt much better. Worth double thr price of the aldi one. You probably wont swe many now for the new seasson as I bet they had lots come back. Mine lasted a few years but was hardjy used really. So it wasn't a bargain at 15 quid
I can agree with you with the material its pritty flimsy but i dont use mine an awful lot hopefully it will last. I recently bought some from a charity shop that were originally from Amazon, they have a very high back. Not a light as the ones we on about but still good sturdy chairs.

Just in case it matters, the old model is much heavier, my scale says 1.6KG. I drove to aldi today hoping to find this one, but they only had the other one. The design is very similar, but the tubes are steel instead of aluminum. You can spot the difference from the bag, the heavy one has a canvas bag with a carry handle.
