    Fantastic video! These high-performance coil springs are the best, we use them on our lift kits for the VW Atlas.

    Awesome video! I just left you a comment on your blog, however, you answered it in this video. I'm going to go with the leveling kit from black forest, hopefully the tires do not rub. I have the same year and trim atlas as you.

    I have a Gen 1 VW Tiguan and considering the Raising Springs. But I've seen comments that raising springs could stress sway bar and end links and also shift the wheels to front or back. Is it true? I'm hoping these springs could be good match with Bilstein B6 shocks.

    What were alignment numbers after the springs were installed. Was there any compromise?

    Did this tire and wheel combo with the h&r lift affect your mpg any?

    @Overland Outdoor Collective, why did you decide to go with the H&R Springs instead of the lift blocks like the one by Forge Motorsport. I am curious to know what made you go for the springs.

      Honestly, I just liked the look of having blue springs under there... I know I replied to you on my IG as well... but thought I'd add my reply here in case others were thinking the same thing. After a few months - the springs have held up extremely well and I have done some pretty challenging trails with my Atlas while towing my Woolly Bear trailer!

      Personally, springs are a better choice over spacers. If you are able, do both for most lift, that is if you can keep the alignment happy.

    Does it drive smooth like the oem spring and do you get any road noise ?

    It's been a while since you did all these mods - how are they holding up? Anything break or did you make any more changes? Any regrets? Thanks!

    Does the spring affect alignment?

    Question, I hate how the stock suspension wallows over bumps like a boat. In fact, I can see in the beginning your's wobbled a bit in the parking lot, that's what I'm talking about. Did these springs fix that? Also, do you think these perform as well as stock in the twisties?

    @Overland Outdoor Collective, How much did the install end up costing you and did you get the parts from the store and purchase separately. I actually live in lake forest area and thinking of installing this kit and curious what the install cost ended up being. Also did the 1.5” lift give you enough clearance for the 32”? I am thinking about upgrading to a 255/70/r18 (stock rims for now…) and it puts it at 32.1 inches which I imagine would be fine but curious if your fit is marginal or good now. Thank you for this video exactly what I was looking for!!

    did you need any spacers, or any fender well mods? also how is the alignment and road feel? Any twitchiness or positive camber issues?

    What was the cost to replace the springs??? thinking of doing a leveling kit for my Atlas. Trying to get an idea on what its gonna cost me for the install.

    • @OverlandOC
      @OverlandOC  4 года назад +3

      Arturo Lugo cost of springs was under $300, but the install can range between $600 to $1000 if you get the laser alignment done. Hope that helps!

      @@OverlandOC I ended up doing the leveling kit. I ordered the exact same wheels and tires that you installed. But it was rubbing really bad. I even did the fender blocks for more clearance... I had to go with 265/65 tires instead. Did u do any modifications at all??

    Does it level out the front also or just do an overall 1-1/2" lift on both the front and back? It looks to be the latter.

    • @OverlandOC
      @OverlandOC  4 года назад +2

      yo 1112 it does 1 inch in the rear and 1.5 in the front. So far it’s been handling off road trails and also towing my newly added trailer. 👍🏼

    • @olivierlanguedoc
      @olivierlanguedoc 4 года назад +1

      @@OverlandOC how doest the sping handle heavy load in the rear? Did you try to fully load the truck + the trailer? How far does it sinks?

    • @MayorOfOC
      @MayorOfOC 4 года назад +1

      @@olivierlanguedoc I'll be adding air bags to the rear just to give it additional lift - it doesn't look too bad when I hitch my trailer onto it... but air bags are an easy add-on and we'll see if I'm happy with the look... if not, I will be beefing up my suspension over the next few months.

    Keep hearing people with these hate the hard ride as opposed to the factory ride- thoughts?

    Do you make a Tiguan version?

    • @MayorOfOC
      @MayorOfOC 4 года назад +1

      I'm not sure to be honest... there are lift blocks available for the Tiggy, but not sure if HR makes springs for your specific model.
