    Thank you very much! This is for me probably the single most useful video on RUclips I've seen so far.

    I use stainless steal ball bearings to act as an agitator , makes for a quicker mix and helps with consistency

    Very well explained! Combined with the acrylic chemistry lesson, I have learned an amazing amount in just two short videos. You should be a full time instructor. Any university positions for terrain professors?

    I prefer to use artist's inks to make washes for my terrain. Much easier to get strong colours (if that's desirable).

      Yep, umbers and sepia's are great colours mate

    very nice. but isn't it a pink mix now? i guess i will work with brown and black washes though

    • @TheTerrainTutor
      @TheTerrainTutor  9 лет назад +2

      Harrys Fotiadis Not exactly, smooth over a white surface it will look pink due to the translucence but as a wash, when it pools in the recesses, it'll be red mate.

    Would dishwasher rinse aid be sufficient? It's has little to zero soap and is basically sold as a flow improved for dishwasher tablets

    Liquitex fluido o soap?

  • @gerardvandermeulen62

    One to three, 25 %... what IS the ratio

    • @nicolemitchell446
      @nicolemitchell446 Год назад

      1:3 parts matte medium to diluted flow aid is the ratio. 25% matte medium with the remaining 75% being the flow aid mix is the same ratio. 25:75= 1:3 percentages make it easier to formulate something to a specific quantity. If you wanted to make 110ml total for example you would calculate 25% of 110ml ( 0.25x110) giving you 27.5ml of matte medium and 75% of 110ml= 82.5ml.
      27.5+82.5=110ml
      I hope that’s what you meant by your question. I sometimes take things too literally. Autism, they tell me 🤷🏻‍♀️
