Sounds really cool and quality.
1:07 This is the best part of the song IMO
I have been looking for covers for this part of the song for years and this is the best so far! But he could have finished it for our joy 😅
JPJ is a musical genius. Thanks for the cover! Very nicely done.
Fantastic
Tell me why this sounds so much from the Middle East? Is it the key, the notes, what?
@@dougskinner9625 it’s the whole half scale plus the strings sounds themselves
Where can I learn this or find sheet music of THIS version?
Chicago Paul Keys

So epic. Hearing just the keys on their own makes me appreciate that part and JPJ even more
I just wish you'd of kept playing it. Trying to learn it and your version is bang on. Well done.
Oh crap... I just now noticed the message saying drums and base not included. Seriously? That's probably the most important part of this song for me since I can't seem to duplicate it. What did you use for the drums then?
Danhoven it’s meant to be played in a live band situation. So yeah, no drums and bass.
Danhoven I programmed the drums on my other Kronos
What do keep switching back and forth from in the buttons above? Changing the drum or changing sounds, or?
Danhoven Sounds. The Kama Scenes switch between the main theme sound, the string fall and the oriental strings sound.
@@narfsounds Thanks. After my comment I made a note to learn what I have. I'm a piano player and even after 2 years of ownership have no idea what my buttons do on my Kronos 2 :)
@@narfsounds One more question. Does this pack have all I need for that? Or do I need to set up these Karma scense? I disabled Karma after I first got my Kronos because I only saw it as a joke in an old person type of keyboard where they held keys and let the keyboard play arpeggios, and because I got sick of the annoying tempo light flicker (I like to play in pitch black, no light).
Danhoven the Karma Scenes are already setup as demonstrated above. I’ve got a SONGLIST at www.narfsounds.com if you want to check it out.
@@narfsounds Yeah, I've spent hours checking them out between yesterday and tonight. I found this video actually from a post you did on the Kronos group, on facebook. I'm certainly interested, but need to spend some time tomorrow on my Kronos 2. I honestly don't know why, but I always by workstation keyboards, since my first Korg DW-6000, but I mainly only touch piano sounds (strings occasionally). I never appreciated Karma and thought it was a joke because I thought it was only for holding down a note and having accompaniment play and due to that understanding of it I saw it as childish. This video and your answers have made me see that it's much more than that.
Long story short, I need to fix my Kronos tomorrow so will be watching how to videos for a bit. I disabled Karma and the drums somewhere long ago to stop the annoying temp light (I prefer to play in the dark). The Kronos group helped me find the setting I needed but now all my sounds that I tweaked for piano are hosed. This may have also been helped with the last Kronos update I did. Not sure. In any case, thanks for the answers. I may have to backup my modified playlist and try a factory reset.
Lots of learning to do in how to use Karma but this song alone is worth it.
PS. Congrats on the major weight drop. I need to find a way to do the same, but by next month :)
Can you please tell what model are you using?
