Lol. You are pre-historic. I was born in 1975 and worked on yachts when this thing was brand new. Guess that makes me an antique or Jurassic..maybe Cretaceous? When I was working on yachts, every yacht had that rich shiny wood that was so shiny it looked like plastic. 40 coats of lacquer and varnish. Now that look has faded away and all that wood they take out and will strip it down, revarnish it and stick it in another yacht and give the owner a deal on the furniture which is already overblown in price anyways.
IKEA showroom? I think very well done - beautiful interior. I would wanted to keep the full beam VIP - less cabins the better in my opinion but I guess this is charter orientated and then probably makes sense.
You turned a classicly beautiful warm wooded interior into an IKEA SHOWROOM, cheap no warmth or value. You have under estimated the value and presence of a yacht'sman yacht.
