Fletcher has been a beast on that DL since his rookie year, and just a fantastic foundation of this team for over a decade. I hate to see him retire, but it was great to see him play all this time. Good luck to him in whatever the future holds!
I'm glad Fletch mentioned what playing an additional game during the season does to the body. Between extending the season, the international games, the Thursday games, etc it felt like Goddell is expanding the NFL too quickly at the expense of its players. All the injuries last season reflect that...
People saying “one extra game folded him” would fold half way through one quarter of what this man did for 12yrs. That’s the point of him saying is that he got to a point where he just wasn’t in it anymore. When you start watching the clock at your job that’s when it’s time to dip. Tbh this guy going half assed would probably still make a starting role on half the teams in the league.
One extra game made you tired , really??? Seems like he didn't enjoy playing anymore, especially by what he said- "How many more games do we have left for the season?" They call these people 9-5 clock watchers in the corporate world.
@@danmontgomery5218 he could have just said the truth, his mind was willing, but his body was not, instead he complained about one extra game, that’s not going away, it just sounded petty, but I’m sure u are just as worn out by all ur playing time in the NFL
So blessed to have Fletch, BG, Kelce, and Lane as a core for such a long time. Hope this next wave of Eagles have the same time of legacy.

Rich's best quality is his ability to always sound like a proud dad no matter if the guys he's talking to is a rookie or a first ballot HoFer
This guy is such a pro. Earned every penny he ever made and then some. Showed up week after week, year after year for his team.
If it wasn't for Aaron Donald, Cox would have received more Accolades. He was top 3 in his position group for over a decade
Going to miss fletch. Definitely on our eagles MT RUSHMORE of all time greats. Thanks for all the years champ

lmao one extra game folded this guy?
These internet trolls...
Laughing when you've never put your body through a 16 or 17 game schedule in the trenches.
One extra game hurt him, makes no sense to me, he just didn't want to play anymore.
