- After 13 season as the Philadelphia Eagles' starting center, Jason Kelce is officially retiring from the NFL. One of the greatest of all time, Kelce finishes his career as a seven-time Pro Bowler, six-time First-Team All-Pro, and most importantly, a Super Bowl Champion, helping bring the City of Brotherly Love its first Super Bowl victory during the historic 2017 season.
Jason Kelce has shown the football world what it means to be an Eagle throughout the entirety of his years in Midnight Green. Congratulations on an incredible run, Jason. Thank you!

Jason, you made my mom’s dream come true. At 82 and a life long Eagles’ fan, she told me she wanted the Eagles’ to win just one Superbowl before she died. Well you did it and the following year she passed. Watching her Eagles win is one memory of her that I will always cherish. Thank you!

He can't bend his fingers, his knees and elbows are really hurt. This man put EVERYTHING into his team, into the sport and always had a smile on his face. He's what every NFL player should aspire to be. He gave us so much, it's time for him to kick back and relax and enjoy his family, he deserves it.

Jason has left an inevitable mark on the NFL and it’s history. I guess you can say he had some brotherly competition in Super Bowl LVII. It would’ve been cool if we saw it again in Super Bowl LVIII, cuz I didn’t really want the 49ers in the bowl. If I had to be honest, if Jason and Travis faced off in Super Bowl LVIII, I’d rather not care if either team won, all I’d care about is that the Kelce brothers got to have some good competition. He’s said that he really wants to be involved still with the organization. So I really do hope he’s able to. I think it’s also so important for these retiring athletes. They need hard goals, competition, and structured routines to stay happy and busy, at least for a few years after. They aren’t even close to old by any means, just too old to be involved in something that physical. So they still have the mental desire and craving for that type of battle and competition and they can just drop into a depression if that’s not fulfilled.

Travis caught my attention first because he plays for my favorite team, but after watching the spirit buildup between the Kelce brothers for Superbowl 57, I have to say that Jason Kelce is one of the best NFL players ever! He gave his heart and soul to the Eagles and to this sport. He has worked hard to get where he is today. He deserves to be able to rest and enjoy his family.
