I have the sure stitch elite as I have the machine on a Q-Zone Queen so the pedal was useless. It's actually great - it beeps if you go too fast or slow and keeps your stitches even. You have to practice though. You can put it on manual so you can slow down the machine or on regulated.
I have the Sure Stitch Elite. I have it on regulated and free motion is a lot easier. It stitches as you move the machine. You can go fast and slow without even thinking about hands or pressor feet.
Thank you for sharing your practice runs. Enjoyed your video unfortunately I can offer no comment about the process as I do not have long arm experience.
Hope you’re inspired to try free motion quilting with your sewing machine. That’s really all I have - it’s just on a frame - one day I will have a long arm!
Thank you, I want to know how much actual quilting space is available once you are set up with your Jazz 2? Thinking the bulk of the quilt determines this, but with your quilts how much are you getting?
I also have the same set up - do you find it hard to see the needle with the bar that is in front of the handles. I'm wondering if I'm set up incorrectly because I'm always bending over to see what I'm doing.
She’s a finicky machine. And you’ll still i my have about 8 in of actual quilt space due to the frame and bulk of a quilt. The Juki looks like a work horse. I think you’ll be fine with that on your frame.
Hmmmm. Not sure. You would need to reach out to the Grace Company. Look at their website for compatibility. I’m sure it would, the machine sits on a carriage.

Thanks for subbing! I have no clue what I’m doing but I’m having fun doing it 😂
I have the Sure Stitch Elite. I found it to be very helpful.
