Got the four best physical attackers in the game, got all of them but Steiner to attack. Steiner has an ability called Charge! that makes all characters with low HP attack the enemy immediately. Thus you have characters who deal max damage effectively getting to attack twice in a round for free and since Ozma has about 55k hp and you have 4 characters doing about 10k damage consistently you can fuck them up in two rounds super efficiently if you know what you’re doing. Normally you’ll need those casters but with this strategy and enough luck you can effectively kill Ozma in less than two rounds.

Not once have I ever been able to defeat Ozma. 😭
Dark absorb gear and just put in the leveling
@@PeaceOwlGaming I did that but for some reason the dark absorb armor didn't seem to work. That or it'd summon meteor and kill my party instantly. The game has never been kind to me lol
I remember beating him and it taking at least an hour with one dedicated healer and a secondary backup healer/fighter. All this time it had less the. 60k in hp😮💨
Dude I didn't know that charge thing can auto atk....
What platform u playing in and what settings those graphics look so smooth
@@forgottenVibess Steam (PC) version, using Moguri Mod.
I mean anything after fifty is kind of redundant assuming you got the right spells
The only thing that made that fight needlessly hard was try to steal a rare item during that fight is mad frustrating
I always though the design of this things was hilarious just a big demonic marble 😆
Ball of Doom lol
Given it was the PS1, this game looks absolutely incredible, doesn't it?
It’s the remaster, though. But FF9 did push the PS1 hardware to its limit that it resulted in the game having lengthy load times and frame drops in the overworld map, lol.
The original PlayStation run of Final Fantasy titles was UNREAL ❤
charge!... the most op skill ever created..... and brutally underused xD
Do you change the graphic?? I dont remember it was so good!
is that a remake? graphics look stunning 😮
I'm confused. Why did you try to flee? Does it do something to Omza's a.i.?
Mate, I've never understood how the attack "charge" works 😅
You should be able to get the FFXIV mount for free with this strategy. GG
riddle me this: what just happened?
That's funny ^^ Great setup. Level 99 is way too much for me to accomplish. I think mine are about leve 80.
Moral of the video: Charge! is stupid OP.
I thought this is some kind of joke and google , then found it truly has that low max hp
"auto-regen? that's trash"
-this dude, probably
Or auto life
IX is the best final fantasy game imo. I’m getting tired of waiting for the remaster >:(
9/10 great strategy. Lost one point due to lack of best Black Mage.
Imagine using Vivi past disc 2
@@aeroga2383 I wouldn’t have been able to beat Trance Kuja without Vivi. 😂 He’s the powerhouse of my team.
@@aeroga2383 imagine being a party elitist in ff9
looks like a ffix perfect save file in the making.
I assume you also have excalibur II?
It wasn't equipped but he can get it if his time goes over 100 hours lol
I always need to steal can’t see myself using this method
Here from your Reddit post. This was genius hahahahaha
Glad to know you liked this :)
😳 can someone explain to me what I just saw?
Got the four best physical attackers in the game, got all of them but Steiner to attack.
Steiner has an ability called Charge! that makes all characters with low HP attack the enemy immediately. Thus you have characters who deal max damage effectively getting to attack twice in a round for free and since Ozma has about 55k hp and you have 4 characters doing about 10k damage consistently you can fuck them up in two rounds super efficiently if you know what you’re doing.
Normally you’ll need those casters but with this strategy and enough luck you can effectively kill Ozma in less than two rounds.
@@thefoxoflaurels3437 thank you!
@@jalamypeno You’re welcome! :D
@@jalamypeno ozma is unique in the fact that he doesn’t have a lot of health at all. The problem comes from just surviving.
Wooow I see
THIS IS SATISFYING TO SEE
This is pretty much how I beat Ozma back in the day. These four characters and just spammed physical attacks for 9999 damage. Works like a charm, lol.
I remember not being able to melee him..
The problem with any FF IX boss is the low low low hp. It's ridiculous
Best believe on the remake the bosses are gonna be iconically harder then any other final fantasy just because of all the bosses on this FF was so easy
Yes, this was one of the only valid critics of FF9. Too easy.
Its is one of my fav FF's
Which version of FF9 is this? Ps4 or steam?
Why are the party members attempting to run away?
lets you try the level 1 ozma challenge
Excuse me, what!?
Killer lvl 99
Max abilities.
I got alot of grinding to go!
Any tips for grind spots or styles?
Grand Dragon or Yan
@@tookae123 ok. Thanks ill Google locations
@@TruMaverick grand dragon dies very fast if you use quinna's "lvl5 death" magic. Takes less than a minute to kill it
@@miorioff Nice Excellent strat i will check it out!
46 second fight, 40 seconds of waiting. 👌
If you don't wanna steal his items, Ozma is the easiest of the bosses...try to get all his stuff...he's a pain in that case.
