- Ford Tech describes his way to repair the common leak at the upper fuel filter housing fuel bowl. Also, the easier way to remove the air filter, cold side charge air cooler hose (inter cooler hose) and blue spring upgrade.
Just bought a 6.0 an he has taught me how to build this truck. Rest in peace friend an thanks family keeping it going

The Lancaster Pa Ford Dealer wanted to charge me 1800 dollars to fix this.
This video saved me a bunch of time and money. Thanks. Took 1.5 hours to do the job but also replaced a power steering line while all the things were out of the way. I have had experience with working on engines and the fear or working on deisels is now gone. Good Luck.

I love all the vids man,just finished up my first oil cooler/egr delete.Everything went smooth except i have an oil leak at the filter housing,the o-ring in the bottom i believe.I referenced a lot of your videos,thanks again for helpin guy's like me out with your time and knowledge.
great video, step by step process worked perfectly, thanks again. I purchased the blue spring regulator kit at Ford for about $92 with tax, the kit has everything and I noticed a better throttle response and better mileage.

hey diesel tech ron, I have a 2006 f350 6.0. My truck it using way to much fuel sometimes 1/4 mile to gallon. where could it be leaking out at?

hey ron, what tool do you use for the d plugs and stan pipe, a hex 10 or 12 mm, or a t50 or t 55?
i have green in my 7.3. not sure if the color matters.

@@lannybustle118 no. The frame rail mounted fuel pump. It's right under the driver's door inside the frame rail. There's a pump and a filter /water separator with four lines going in and out of it. Should buzz for a little bit with the key on.
