Last 3 years I went to Switzerland with my wife to the same place I used to go with my parents, but in a hotel. She fell in love with the country immediately. This year we went to Scotland in the summer, but next year we will certainly go back to Switzerland again. No country can be compared to Switzerland, especialy The Bernese Alps, which is in my opinion the most beautiful region in the country (We also visited Wallis and Graubunden). Rothornbahn we will surely visit next year after this video. It's magical!

Probably one of the most beautiful rides in Switzerland. But, I'd recommend ear plugs if you're riding in back near the locomotive. It's beautiful music, but it's loud.

The beautiful nature and infrastructure around it are incredible in Switzerland. Make sure you check the weather before you book the Rorhornbahn

It's not steep, the road is well maintained and quite easy to get around

Brienz to Rothorn takes roughly 30 Minutes and you should buy ticket online beforehand to avoid queueing to buy on the spot.

The starting point is Brienz. You can get there from Interlaken either by train or by boat.
