You call BS in that? I watch people daily contribute large amounts of money to streamers......to watch them play video games.....which was free to do in the first place.....
I love the idea of the red tau dude and his pet seagull just showing up in random spots in all your future dioramas. Dudes gonna be traveling the whole galaxy lol
@@footrot17 It's mainly about having atracted atention from a big name like that. It could also be better that some other person getting it because it would get even more publicity for the organization and the hobby.
I mean he’s offered 20 000$s for it(he asked all his subscribers to enter it giving him the highest chance of anyone to win it cuz he will give 20 000$s to the winner if they give him the diorama.
I am almost sad it's done guys. This has been the best content on my RUclips for so long, I'm constantly wondering what the next updates are gonna be and how it will look next. Thank both you guys specifically for dragging me head over heels into modeling in 2020 and teaching me the principles I needed to begin painting 40k ❤
Me and my partner are watching this on the couch together. Can't believe how amazing this is! Y'all did such a fantastic job! The pure love and passion for what you all do really shines through in your work! Thank you for sharing your journey with us my dudes!
Holy sh*t it's turned out insane! Please do a full video just fully showing it off! - Turning slowly on the turn table, and then maybe walking around it with a camera pointing all the little details out. It's awesome
This is actually the best diorama anywhere on the planet hands down , the blood sweat and tears you guys have out into this is epic "chefs kiss" . 👏👏👏👏👏
This really belongs in a modern art museum with a short documentary displayed alongside the creation process. As nerdy as Warhammer is, this is a real piece of contemporary artwork.
This is cool and all but don't let this distract you from the the fact that in 1966, Al Bundy scored four touchdowns in a single game while playing for the Polk High School Panthers in the 1966 city championship game versus Andrew Johnson High School, including the game-winning touchdown in the final seconds against his old nemesis, Bubba "Spare Tire" Dixon. On a more serious note, this is such an epic project, and I really love what you did. What a journey 😍
Well done to your whole team. You have helped inspire me to get back into the hobby, after 13 years I’m finally painting my space hulk. I’ve got my ticket!
OMG you finally finished it! Looks so incredible. This has been an incredible video series and a fantastic chance at one of the most incredible raffles of all time. I personally learned a bunch of things throughout the series I don't know if I would have learned without your trial and errors. Well done gentlemen.
man i dont even want the diorama i think someone who deserves it should get it, but im definitely donating for all the effort everyone put into this amazing masterpiece
i know it doesnt help now, but having a box fan blowing on you while grinding would have helped keep it clear so you could see. if you had it blowing out side the garage door it would of sent the dust outside instead too.
Might not be doing another project on this scale but if there is a next time maybe have the lighting area removable as some form of drawer or hinged panel that gives access for tweaking or running repairs
Just... insanity. I've been planning a diorama of one of my mini titans emerging from the waters to save an injured lone surviving terminator holding the remains of his chapter's banner, and now I have quite some inspiration for the water effects!
Congrats on finishing the diorama! It looks amazing!! I can't stop but think that you could've saved a bunch of time by using clear-drying silicone to shape waves instead of grinding down the resin, but the result looks amazing, so I guess worth the effort? Hope you sell a lot of tickets!
I'm starting to think that red tau is actually just Brent from goobertown hobbies... First he's fishing, now he's kayaking with his animal companion and he is peacefully content despite the chaos all around him.
Should try a finger sander , for carving? You can get them mains powered or air powered. We use them for restoring cars and belts are for grinding metal , might help in the future, keep up the outstanding work boys 👍🚀
Should have went with an pneumatic tools (air tools) for the waves, they usually have higher rpm tools so it would have been less strain on yourself. A could cons would be getting pressured air, and the noise if you choose to get an air compressor that can produce enough pressurized air for constant use.
Emil is a great painter and makes interesting content.. but Lukas is a bona fide all around kick ass artist. Sooner or later we'll get a video in which there's a need for a symphony, and Lukas will compose it and play all instruments, just because.
Great work and an amazing result, the waves are perfect! Totally would suggest an angle grinder with various discs or maybe even a palm router for doing resin carving in the future. Drills don't have the torque/power needed to it without serious effort from the user. Dremel may have been the only option in some places alright though! or maybe a grinder attachment for a compressor.
Standing firm against all that the Chaos Powers represent is indeed a heavy burden. But you gentleman have shouldered this task well. Excellent job guys the diorama looks fantastic and I'm glad that the various challenges were found surmountable. I hope you both take a well deserved holiday after this!
I remember finding your series when you were still trading minis trying to get the WARLORD TITAN but I’ve never expected that in the end you will make the best Warhammer diorama in existence, all that work for something truly amazing congratulations guys
Amazing guys. Congrats on it finally being done, what a journey its been... no more nightmares on resin hopefully. Good luck to all the money earned by the raffle for charity.
Do y'all consider making a video just going through the diaroma? Now that it's complete, walking through all the cool parts, shining a metaphorical light on everything? I want to share this with my 40k buddies, but they prob won't go back to watch from the start to see all the cool bits!
I love how you guys are normally pretty professional and family friendly, but at this point youre cussing up a storm and crying due to the madness of this project 😂
This series is what got me hooked on your channel almost a year ago and I’m going to miss the updates on this incredible piece of art. Congrats on finishing it and I can’t wait for more big diorama videos in the future :)
Got my ticket. Good luck to all who entered. Hopefully Luca will get a big bowl of soup and a dozen of warm cookies. What an adventure of watching this 10 cent goblin to this final product.
I guess I'm going to be an outlier here: I love your guys stuff and I adored the manta diorama. I think this was a cool concept at the start and I understand you had to work on a short timeline. That being said: the water isn't working for me. I think it would have helped to have a resin artist work on that part and I hope you consider bringing someone on who works with resin to do waves in the future. I kinda feel like it takes away from the beautiful paintings done on the models themselves and doesn't feel like the models have any *weight* to them with how the waves were done. To my fellow commenters : I totally respect and like these guys and what they do. I don't hate them or what they make, this is just my humble onion and if you disagree that's totally cool, just please don't interpret this as hate.
Damn....I've been following this wild project from the beginning and it still couldn't prepare me for the finished product. You really knocked it out of the park fellas!
I love that you are using scotchlok UY2, I was a Telecommunications tech for 14 years, and I'm sure Ill find them around my house for at least 10 more years XD
Final outcome is so sick! A journey worth watching every step of the way. It always slips my mind that this diorama is for charity, its nice knowing you guys are doing this through passion and the desire to make a difference. Keep up the awesome work!
As much as i love the idea that this goes to a dedicated fan and do good with charity, this beauty does belong in a museum! Forgeworld should pay you a fortune for stuff like that
that is super awesome and cool but I just cant stop thinking that that is two titans "wasted"... Still what an amazing journey to have been with you fellas. If you do this again I will gladly watch it and bite my nails in stress xDDD
you guys should probably knock up an air purify filter box fan setup if youre going to blow resin dust all over the place like that. you got the models clean but now that room has resin dust all over everything else still.
Celebrated by purchasing a ticket, it feels like I've had a full year enjoying this project haha! Its been such a cool journey to see the miniatures come and go and then the double titans!

Hoping for Henry Cavill to bid for the diorama.
