    The most noteworthy stock at the moment is WBA (Wallgreens Boots Alliance).
    This stock is currently seen at an absurdly low price level, corresponding to its historical low point.
    I don't think the opportunity to buy it at this price will come again for decades to come.
    I think this is the 'ridiculously good opportunity' that Charlie Munger spoke of.
    Good opportunities don't come often.
    Good opportunities sometimes only come once in a lifetime.
    Wba's sales are still high, and it appears that it has recently realized net profit.
    I think we are still building a solid foundation.
    I have been investing in stocks for a long time, but I have not often seen such good opportunities...

    The issue with Tesla is that even though it has a amazing balance sheet and decent margins it has extremely poor growth for its price and would need a massive boom to just justify the current price. Its business is also not as stable as the car market fluctuates a lot so imo there are much better opportunities in the market.

    Top notch quality content as usual! I’ve learned a lot since I found your channel back in 2022. Made over 23k in gains (75%) on Microsoft when you convinced me to buy it in 2022. It’s now my second largest position in my 401k behind VOO and while I’m not adding much to it currently, it’ll remain a core position.
    I appreciate the opportunity cost part of the video. It does make me question if I should sell some Microsoft (maybe my initial amount invested) and allocate elsewhere. I’m always wondering what I should do next but I think I’ll stand pat for now. If Microsoft jumped up to $1000 a share tomorrow I’d probably sell and then allocate elsewhere. Regardless, thank you for the insights man! Love this content!

      I love it long-term in mid $100's. This is a decade+ holding for me. Will continue to add at this range over 1-2 years. Not a value stock. Future valuation relies on large growth and business execution, which I personally think is likely.

    Although the adage of missing the best 10 days is technically true, no one ever speaks about the other side of the coin. Missing the 10 worst days would up your gains by 2.5 times so there is more value in leaving some money on the sidelines when the market is historically overvalued. Especially since the ten best days usually are followed by the worst days.

    At least you got the long term capital gain rate for selling AVGO after a yr of holding it.
    Buffett still has a problem finding value in stocks as he still loves t-bills holding 3% of the market..
    According to analysts at JPMorgan, Berkshire Hathaway controls 3% of the entire T-bill market. That's $158 billion in total.Jun 3, 2024

    • @DividendData
      @DividendData  3 месяца назад +1

      To be fair, I'm not selling my AI stocks. Microsoft and Tesla are the top positions across my accounts. I sold AVGO because it's price has surged like a mini Nvidia while seeing no gains in earnings. I don't look at AI as being a major win for AVGO. It's a small business segment for them. AI is a massive tailwind for Microsoft's entire business. Tesla with self-driving cars & humanoid optimus/Tesla bot

    My problem with Visa its a really fragile stock. When our gouvernements will try to force us to digital centralize gouvernement money.
    Visa will just become useless. Plus, banks could just create a unionpay platform
    Iike in asisa. Asia and the middle-est will become the next rich countries and i dont think they like the idea of letting US buiness control the digital payment space.

    • @lucterbogt183
      @lucterbogt183 3 месяца назад +2

      Dont think thats a problem for the next 10 years: Banks are typically now integrating the wallet system for authentication and document signing: Digital currencies (especially union or gov held) are very negatively regarded topics within international spheres, and those are nog really in play to be created until at leastt 2030.
      Even when we reach that point. It will most likely use the currently set network of visa an MC. This is in part because Visa will be integrated in this development from the start theyre very well linked with digital banking politics

    • @mr.xernorus4026
      @mr.xernorus4026 3 месяца назад

      And i agree with all the point here. And to be honest, right now Visa is my 2nd largest position too since 2013. But, it can be a flip coin. Either there going to be use for the tokenisation/centralisation thats is coming or there going to be toss aside.

    • @DividendData
      @DividendData  3 месяца назад +1

      I would not consider it to be fragile. I would say it has an extremely wide economic moat. So dominant that the only risk is regulation. I think US will stay away from Central Bank Digital Currency. Visa is actually very focused on crypto and CBDC. Integrating and helping governments with them. So I don't think that would make Visa obsolete at all: www.visa.com.sg/run-your-business/visa-government-solutions/central-bank-digital-currency.html#:~:text=Central%20Bank%20Digital%20Currency%20(CBDC,a%20seamless%2C%20secure%20payment%20experience.
