14:30 If you're attacking "the one destroyer in back" you might also choose approach vector more "away" from the ships you're not attacking (aka from rear/starboard) and immediatelly after firing increase plane's speed to max... for better chance of surviving...
The formula for ground force strength in a location uses F: Force Strength, S: Supply, T: Number of Troops, D: Total Number of Ports and Fields. Thus, F = if(T
Battlecruisers are suitable for hunting heavy cruisers to destroyers, but don't let them anywhere near a battleship. They don't have the armour. They were built to be faster than battleships with a similar gun calibre and for hunting cruisers. A squadron of battlecruisers would be good for clearing the seas of smaller Axis fleets, but they would need air support and light cruisers and destroyers as a screen. You can guarantee the Luftwaffe would try to play with them. It depends on whether you want to save your command points for later. I'm not sure how many battleships you currently have, but another wouldn't hurt. I'd like to see you have in total ten heavy and ten light cruisers. More realistically, if you're not saving for the big stuff, it's more destroyers. Preferably Battle and Tribal classes as they were fleet destroyers. Although V and W classes aren't bad. They were used as convoy escorts. 😃😃❤️❤️❤️😃😃
It's not like we've been trying to tell the effect of supplies to the land battle for the past two campaigns or so, but good to see it finally being in your set of strategy tools. :)
Ignoring the date being off for a fair few if the types seen I'm enjoying it tbh as makes for a interesting alternative history WW2 where it started in 1945 not 1939 explain how Italy and Germany have much strong air and sea forces then
You know, for a naval game like this, I’d figure there would be more instances of ship vs ship. But it seems mainly air attacks or a sneaky sub attack is all you have to do.
In my opinion, Tripolis is NOT worth upgrading the airfield to lvl.5, as it is too far in the rear area... you need to "push forward", improve the most forward airbases, as those are a) more in risc of being attacked by enemy b) most capable of bringing the fight towards enemy bases... The same amount of ressources needed for Tripoli 4->5 might suffice to bring two other airfields 2->3 which would be better help. Also, if bases loose planes, they need some ressources delivered to replenish those lost aircraft...
Please play more Whack a Sub! There were 2 on screen the whole episode that you did not go after. Also there are some enemy planes around a few of your bases you left alone. Send up a fighter sweep to clear the skies and stop enemy gaining intelligence. Love your videos hope you and your family are in good health! Thank you, and a good day to you sir!
as was the way in WW2, the big fleet engagements were becoming a thing of the past, why go to the expense of building great battleship / cruiser fleets when a squadron of aircraft or a couple of subs could easily sink them for little cost in resources
I do appreciate how you edit with various views in the engagements. Brings a better immersion to your games.
1 CA, 2 CL, 4 DD as a channel blocking force strong AA. Then 2 subs up near the new port in Greece.
Thanks
Wow thankyou so much

I'm nothing if not stubborn
50 second notification? I could barely get my sea legs on.😊
Aircraft and merchant shipping seem to be winning the day. More armed fleets moving around to take and upgrade territory wouldn't hurt your chances.
I've got the feeling something big is about to happen

well ww2 was when the Battleship no longer ruled the waves, in the sky and under the wave the threats were greater for far less resources !
More armed ships with merchants to move material and build, plenty of planes on land.

It's Porto San "Powlah"
Hi plz get one of the incomparable class battleships
More surface ship engagements PLEASE!!!
The series is basically without it at this point😢Quite the focus on air-to-surface engagements😢

25:32 why is that german ship using american 5 inchers and torpedo tubes?
Yeah all you have to do is get close to a sub with one rocket and it's dead
