After playing the Pacific version I found rockets are good for destroyers,oilers and subs, light cruisers at a push ,and attacking from different directions in larger numbers to break up the AA , don’t know it’s different in this MOD but may work
You are again comitting the error of dividing your attacking aircraft between more enemy ships. You need to sink one, not scratch (or even seriously damage) two. Main reason is to weaken their AA defense. If you only damage them, then your next attack will again meet full enemy fire, whereas if you manage to sink just one of their ships, next attack will face less threat! At 30:30 there was excellent decision to only attack one enemy ship, and look - it was sunk! Whereas at 32:30 you divided those B17s between both remaining enemy ships, and none was sunk :( :( At least, the B17s are now surviving, which allows them to increase in number and send stronger attacks...
