I don't hear guitar 3 in the verses. It's possible Summers doubled up with Sting's the bass line as he did on Walking On The Moon. However, there is definitely two guitars on the pre-chorus ('I'll send an S.O.S....'). The lead parts are really well done. Bravo.
I have this song as separate tracks. That's where I heard that third guitar...maybe I heard wrong. It was interesting that in the separate tracks I had all kinds of other extras that didn't end up on the album...like the fills in Pre Choruses 🎸🎸 And thank you 😉👍🙏
