You must have missed his excellent combine, his passing that destroyed Ohio State in Columbus in 2022 , and oh yea, his 2024 Rose Bowl MVP award vs Bama.
Great kid, good arm, good mobility, and coachable. But that has been said about hundreds of QB prospects over the years. Only about 1-in-7 1st round QB's ever amount to a franchise player that competes for the playoffs regularly. Bottom line is that picking a QB in the draft is basically a crap shoot.
If he gets the Jordan Love treatment, he'll be just fine in the league. Going into a situation where he's starting right away, he may be able to do it, but that adds an extreme amount of pressure from the jump and may fuck up his confidence. Sit him at the minimum 6 weeks, then depending on the team and how fast JJ has progressed, consider starting him. Minnesota is definitely a solid look, the best option imo, Atlanta he could sit behind Kirk for a year or two like Jordan Love. Kirk is 36 this year, and coming off an injury who knows if he'll be able to play through his contract. Also Seattle.
