- If you haven't seen my community post, I've been watching Tangled: The Series a lot and I really like this song and started an animation with it as soon as I heard it, which was just like, a week ago but still
My first thought after hearing it was Ivypool, but I didn't wanna do Ivypool/Dovewing so I was thinking Ivypool/Birchfall but then I sketched out a few frames and Lionblaze/Hollyleaf popped into my head. That's how this happened. I figured this could be a prequel kinda thing to my 'Let's Only Think About Love' animatic and this was perfect timing cause that turns 2 in like, a week.
Lionblaze is my favorite Warrior cat if anyone was wondering. Idk I just like his chapters a lot better than Holly's or Jay's, and his and Squirrelflight's relationship is very sweet. 11/10 good boyo

I love how this picks up on Lion's more or less violent fantasies/ past and him sympathizing with Holly's drive to step on a rather dark path herself. Awesome job dude!!!!

I like how light you made their fur colors, especially with Hollyleaf a lot of the time people will have the colors be too dark for her emotions to read clearly. Also I was so glad that you included the spinning shot
I used to make that mistake a lot when I was just using a laptop, it would show the colors a LOT lighter than they show up on like, my phone. Then I got a tv and connected it to that so it shows me how dark it actually is, so I was able to make them more see-able!
Also yeah that spinning shot was very inspired from the same scene in the show!
The problem with making black cats lighter than usual is that they look grey most the time

Just the idea, your art, the subtle animation, the song choice, the storytelling, everything is so great!!
Also someone else who likes Lionblaze! I don't care if his chapters are "boring", I still love him and his development :D

Aww ty! Yellow cat is Lionblaze, black cat with green eyes is Hollyleaf, the brown cat towards the end is Leafpool, and the black cat with blue eyes that's there for like, a frame is Crowfeather!

Hollyleaf had nothing against Star Clan.
That part was just to go along with the "You'll lose your faith" line, like showing what would/will happen if she continued with her hate! Same with the image of her covered in blood^^
