Me with 6 000 IDs (prior to the patch): “Wow, I wonder if people will find a way to solo this, this seems really difficult. Especially because I didn’t bring anything to heal SP” Not even 24 hours later:
My first try of this fight was solo fishmael, lol. did it as a meme (without any healing ability at that, too), and honestly didn't think it'd be anywhere near as successful as it was... patch definitely nerfed the fight a lot from what i've heard. Although have also heard my strategy probably would've worked for everything bar the 3rd phase anyways with the prior patch... and if i had healing, i imagine 3rd phase woulda been doable too. My strategy was phase 1 use waw ego, instantly corrode, second phase still corroded and get the 2 waw ego attacks during that, 3rd phase SP is back at 0, you should've dodged the first stagger break because it happened while corroded in the prior phase, attack with two non-waw egos, and use 3rd attack to dodge the other two attacks 4th phase and onward, just winrate. You don't have to do anything else. I didn't actually put any thought into this, but reasoning behind it is, because you're solo, sp constantly at 45, and because of fishmael's skills, ahab gains a lot of sinking which puts her at -45 sp, so you'll always win clashes. Only phase that's an issue is the 3rd phase because of the counterattack - that's why you need to have your first stagger bar broken during corrosion. Could potentially, if you had enough resources, use all your high attack weight egos to hopefully just stagger her before she can stagger you... but i was sadly at -4 envy resources, so uh... yeah i couldn't do that. Anywho yeah, tbh was really hoping it'd be more difficult... but i exited out of the dungeon to show a friend something without knowing there was an update... i uh, tbh, entered the dungeon with one of the worst team comps imaginable if it wasn't for having fishmael and gripping sinclair... according to my friend anyways. But eh, everything up to the last two fights was easy, so...

Rare sight of base Ishmael skill two defence power down application that is so specific for no reason at all working(who tf allowed clash win condition in a defence power down skill)
This one was pretty simple for a final boss, though I needed it after the brutal trio fight right before drained my healing resources to the bottom. Also, this music (especially once the lyrics start) really sounds more like goofing-off time or atmospheric chill than a climactic fight; maybe the lyrics are more explicit. Also, I’ve heard Base Ishmael was one of the worst IDs, but looks like they can hit some impressive clash numbers; what passives did you have?
Passive list [LCB Sinner] Yi Sang [Lobotomy E.G.O::Regret] Faust [W Corp. L3 Cleanup Agent] Don Quixote [LCB Sinner] Ryōshū [LCB Sinner] Meursault [K Corp. Reminder that the EGO gifts from the Dungeon Buff Ishmael's skills final power regardless of ID. That and of course Snagharpoon passive are part of why she clashes so well in this fight. Besides that, its cool how well equiped she is to deal with Gasharpoon. Particularly due to Slide, since that applies defense level down on Clash Win and Gasharpoon does rely somewhat heavily on defensive skills in phase one and three
the strategy to beat Ahab is winning specific clashes and kneecapping her defensive skills and thats like the 2 things LCB ishmael is actually good at. Even pre-nerf LCB probably would have the easiest time soloing this, guys.
Sometime i think the X number of skill you have is actually a lie Instead its just showing how usual the skill will appear From my feeling i conclusion Skill1=60% percent to appear Skill2=30% percent to appear Skill3=10-20% percent to appear It not showing how many skill you can have, you can have up to 5 skill 3 if lucky
kinda? it's not a lie tho, it's just that the amount of a set skill determines how likely it is to exist. imagine a bowl and in it are the skills, everytime you get a new skill on your board it randomly takes one from the bowl, but theres more of skill 1 in the bowl than there are of the others, so it is more likely to take skill 1 its not a "you have max [x] amount of this skill" it's more like "there is 6 choices it can choose from, 3 are skill1, 2 or are skill2, and 1 is skill3"
