It's been a long time since I have just walked out in nature without time stress or worry about getting lost, or had a Sunday Roast, very inspiring! Thanks guys, wish I'd been there! 🤗
When I was a little girl we had a German Shepherd Cross named Jet. He was a brilliant guard dog who'd sit under sit under the front step and scare intruders with his loud deep "Woof!". We were living in Brissie (Brisbane) and he did have to deal with a couple of them. In one instance his bark scared an intruder enough to make him jump over a wall that was at least 10 feet high. Another time he bailed up a man who was on the run from the Police. He was found up a mango tree in our backyard, begging my Dad to call off Jet. Unfortunately Jet wouldn't allow the Police Dog onto the property at first. He was fully trained to hold an attackers arm with his teeth but not break the skin. If Dad had released his hold on Jet's collar when that intruder in that tree wanted. That would have been an attack signal so it's a good thing Dad didn't.
I love spending time out in nature, it relaxes me to just sit watching the birds, insects and so on. I can decide which vegetable is the worst probably Brussel Sprouts followed swiftly by Cauliflower. Although if it heavily infused by better flavours Cauliflower isn't entirely terrible, nothing can improve Brussel Sprouts though.

Short or long Wellies /Gum boots . short wellies are good for mowing the lawn in
Wellies!! Short for Wellingtons. I remember this term used in Australia when I was a lad. We shortened it to "boots" / "Rain boots" when I started school.
That's funny that you guys don't call them wellies! 🤣
@@CharlieandRob haha..I've only ever known them as gum boots. That's usually what they're called in stores here. Apparently they wer so named because made from gum rubber.🤷♀️
I've never known them as wellies in Australia, only as gum boots. Even the stores call them that. Rain boots I've heard but it wasnt really used much where I grew up. It was gum boots. So named after the gum rubber they were made of apparently.
@Teagirl009 Yes, I had forgotten that. Thanks for reminding me. My Grandmother used the term Wellington and my mother called them rainboots. I must say my grandmother was Irish.

That's interesting re Sunday trading. Our Shops open on Sunday in Australia at 10am too, we don't have to wait til 10.30 to be served though.

What a lovely place! Wish my 2 dogs were as well behaved off leash as Lena and Jet! Food looks great, i'd swap the beef for pork! Also cauliflower is amazing if you roast it with a good spice rub or batter the florets and deep fry 😋
haha Lina is too much of a wimp to be bad off lead and Jet is too old to cause a problem!

Nice wellies 👍. Who does Jet belong to again? I was having a 'feel sorry for myself' day today, but Lina and Jet getting in the stream had me giggling 😊. What a great idea the spray to clean puppies feet 👌. I've been to cafes here in Tas that allow dogs to sit in outdoor eateries, but inside a big no, so just wow that doggos can come inside is amazing 🥰
We board jet (as its my job), but we have looked after him for years now and hes the best!

Since the name is New Forest, I'm guessing it is very old and historically important, all forests are but this one must be particularly significant. Without googling it and spoiling the fun I'm guessing the most biodiversity, kinda hard because you can have dogs there. Dogs are banned from our national parks.
Unfortunately, it's the fact they have free roaming ponies!
