I've walked this route many times and it's a lovely walk, but i'm a bit confused about the bit where the cows were in the field. Did you turn left at Compton lock and cross over the river ? That archway and style through the brick wall into the meadows looks like the one from the Poultry farm ( as shown on the os map ). I'm wondering why you didn't just keep following the main path alongside the river ? keeping the river on your left side 🤔🤷‍♂

Wikipedia: "Trzonolinowiec", sometimes called "The Linowiec" - a modernist building in Wrocław at ul. Tadeusza Kościuszki 72-74 (corner of ul. Dworcowa ), built in 1961-1967 Trzonolinowiec has 12 floors [2] with 44 apartments. The building was based on a design by Andrzej Skorupa and Jacek Burzyński [2] , which, however, was significantly modified and impoverished, among other things, by reducing the glazing [1] . It is one of the few buildings of this type in Europe, the basis of its structure is a reinforced concrete core, transferring vertical compressive loads to the base of the building. There are ceilings in the form of square platforms suspended (in the initial configuration) on twelve steel ropes. Ropes - tension elements are attached to the top of the core and transfer the weight of the ceilings to it, they are also anchored at the ground floor level to stiffen the structure. The lowest floor is suspended above the undeveloped space around the core. Unlike traditional buildings, which are built from the bottom, the molar building was built from the top floor. Individual floors, built on the ground floor from ready-made prefabricated elements , were lifted by hydraulic cylinders designed by T. Tenidowski [2] . The structure hanging on ropes was stiffened in 1974 (the design for strengthening the shaft was created at the Wrocław University of Science and Technology ). The ropes were encased in concrete and reinforced with steel poles on the ground floor. Curtain and internal walls were also replaced. The building received the title of Wrocław House of the Year for 1967 [2] . Technical condition of the building Following the PINB order of January 26, 2023, the housing community commissioned the preparation of an opinion on the technical condition of the building's structural elements . The property manager called an urgent meeting of the housing community for July 31, 2023, because the expert opinion received by him on July 24, 2023 recommends [3] emptying the building as soon as possible, evacuating the residents remaining in it, securing the area, developing a project for the repair or demolition of the building. However, on July 27, PINB stated that the expert opinion was unreliable because it did not meet the conditions of the expert opinion at all, and the conclusion ordering the building to be abandoned was premature [4] . In February 2024, scientists from the Faculty of Civil and Water Engineering of the Wrocław University of Science and Technology presented research results showing that a renovation that deeply interferes with the structure of the building is required, including: repair of corroding supporting ropes. Moreover, it was found that the structural elements are overloaded and it will be necessary to evict the tenants by the end of July 2024 at the latest [5] [6] .

Wrocław jest moim zdaniem chyba piękniejszy. Próbuje być obiektywna w ocenie Krakowa🤔. Ale Kraków to bliskie mi miasto. Jestem związana z Krakowem od początku - bo tam się urodziłam i mieszkałam🤗. Kraków teraz wzoruje się na Wrocławiu i ma już kilka smoczych figurek na mieście na wzór słynnych krasnali (w planie są oczywiście kolejne smoki🐉, które będą rozsiane po całej miejskiej okolicy).
