I am grateful that both are a thing
The only good thing about traxxas is parts availability. I usually buy a few spares of common parts that break right upfront so I have them already.
Kevin I have to say you are a genuine good person to buy a rc to basically give to your friends I give you major props for what you do for your friends..you're blessed and you share your blessings..huge thumbs up bro.

I ordered the vorteks on Monday and received it to my place earlier today. What a coincidence! My first serious RC yet...my previous car being a T2M pirate booster (35km/h). I just came in from work, battery's charged, gotta go out and test drive it :)

I just bought two of these for my sons They love em It's similar to the maxx with a little less ground clearance but they were cheaper Its s great car for someone just getting into the hobby

Dang, the front of the box had me thinking it was a Team Corally Kronos XP for a moment there.. I got one recently and it has been an absolute ripper. Tough to even control on 6s, but such a blast it just makes a smile. Hope to see one on here sometime, although I’m sure it’s a huge long shot
I wish we had a track like that in my area so i couldve given our vorteks its proper test lol stadium truck so that track is absolutely perfect for it we howeer just full sent off jumps as you guys did at skate park just a mahoooossive dirt one

Yay, 2 days ago I was looking for a Kevin Talbot Arrma Vorteks review
I have an older vorteks from a few years ago, with the brushed motor. It is 2wd and I swapped it out to have a brushless motor. It looks a bit different than the new ones for sure.
Really enjoy your channel would love to see you review the maverick quantum xt flux and the plus version I reckon with a few tweaks they could be real bargains

I don't think Arrma gift their cars to KT like other RUclipsrs. Arrmas loss because I agree, what a great advert for their products.

With the 203mph car, give it a good check over before sending it.
I was also wondering about putting some short pieces of fuel tubing on the shaft of the shocks, it'll help the car not to bottom out and will also have some give in it, basically it'll act as another spring. I don't know what length to use but it should help.

Love my Vorteks, I've found that 100c batteries make a huge difference.

I love my Vorteks... the motor will front bearings burn out pretty fast though. Mine lasted 4 3s packs only

I have all of the 3S RCs from Arrma, and this one is the fastest, by about 5mph over the Typhon. I got mine to 55mph, stock out of the box!

That is exactly what happened to mine. Shock end broke in exactly the same place. Just one though. Only I didn't even jump it. Just did some hefty flips by accident. Great car though.
my vorteks rear trail arms snapped off after sending it off of a skatepark ramp once. "Tough" it reckons.

I bought one of these a week or so ago. Ya showed the good bits, but it does have some problems.
1. Runs out of battery within 15 mins as well as thermal shut down with in 10 mins.
2. It catches rocks in the servo saver, locking up the steering.
Other than that it’s an insane truck that can take a beating.
Woke to a Kev vid and was instantly happy! Been thinking of getting one of those but wasn’t sure if I’d get that or the Traxxas Slash VXL?!?!? Will there be a Claire comparison??? I sure hope so!!

I hope that i can come to the UK soon. This “quarentine” time must come to an end,... pffff. More time to spend on RC, yes... but the rest of life is nowadays verry blocked for vacation.
